I wear a size 12.5 so the size 12 I bought are very snug. Size 13 is much too long from experience. No fun tripping over shoe toes that are too long.

I like the look of the boot. They are stiff as expected for new and I've had a blister on my right Achilles from one day I walked a fair bit in them. Overall very satisfied and I assume they'll only get better with more break in.

Shoe is stylish but overstated. Reasonably comfortable for being on one's feet all day. Shoe strings are the only drawback as they come loose very quickly; they must be double tied to avoid coming loose.

I really like the look and feel of these boots, they are about the perfect style for what I was looking for. Unfortunately the 11.5 were a bit too tight which I had ordered online. Went in to the store and the size 12 are too big. Apparently the shoes only come in medium width which is very narrow. So I had to return them and still looking for the perfect boot

A Great buy at a better price than the higher end "fancier" models. Great comfort and wear with almost anything. Classic look and feel

Like my other 3 pair of JM shoes, these are comfortable, fit perfectly and are high quality. They're lighter in color than the website shows, but I'd recommend them to anyone.

This is a really nice boot that can be dressed up or down. I wear a custom orthotic so one big selling point for me was that the factory insole is not glued in and can be easily removed. I was not crazy about the high sheen from the factory so I removed it with a light amount of acetone, after the sheen was removed i applied a quality mink oil and the boots look awesome and more to my liking. These boots run large, my go to size is normally 9.5 for dress shoes and oxfords, I often have to 1/2 size up for athletic shoes and 1/2 size down for boots but in this (very rare for me) case I ended up with size 8.5 that even with my bulky custom orthotic fits perfect. Again these are really nice boot and I'm at 4.5 stars with these just because they are loud on hard surfaces with a slight improvement to the heel these boots are easily a 5 star boot.

Bought a pair two months ago, wore about 7-8 times and one of the laces broke. Apparently JM doesn't list the laces dimensions for their shoes and don't sell replacement laces. How disappointing - imagine buying a car from Ford but they don't sell tires for your new car if one is defective. Likely won't buy from JM again.

The sole is stiff. When you walk it does not flex and it's even the special sole.

Too big, had to send them back. Really nice shoe. Only reason for the low score is I can never figure JM sizing.

They are definitely comfortable and I will wear them. They are less formal and refined Then I would've anticipated from the pictures. For me theyre more of a casual wearable boot versus a refined formal shoe.

Too many defects in the product. There's places on the midsole where the paint is rubbed off and places where the stitching is uneven. Even a place where the leather is over cut. Not the quality I expected. I wore them once before I noticed this and the shoe was comfortable.

The toe box was smooth and shiny. The rest of the shoes had a subtle orange peel finish from too much top coat application. A coat of Kiwi polish did not fix this.

I returned the shoes. The quality of the XC flex chukka has gone down since the last pair that I purchased.

Loved these up until the heal started separating. They are work shoes that spend 99% of the time in airports and hotels. I wear them only half the month, and yet after 4-1/2 months the heals on both shoes are coming apart. This should not happen, especially at the price point of JM.
