Most comfortable shoes I own despite having many to choose from. Very stylish too and did I mention also waterproof? A great purchase. I have taupe and grey already and am considering the blue as a future purchase.

Very comfortable for walking around and they look great as a casual shoe for when you want to step it up above athletic sneakers. I have a wide foot and still am comfortable leaving the insole inside the shoe. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great fit and comfort

Kudos on another great product in the XC4 line. These shoes are extremely comfortable, supportive, and stylish. I own four pairs - two leather and two nubuck. And I am buying a fifth pair this month.

Walked all over Paris with them brand new. 12 miles in one day. Excellent comfort and they look great too.

Better than expected

I have difficult feet to fit comfortably, and have historically purchased shoes almost exclusively from that Danish company whose name begins with an "E". This was my first pair of Johnston Murphy shoes. After just returning from a trip to Italy, I had an opportunity to "road test" the shoes under some fairly challenging conditions... up and down hills, cobblestone streets, and even some very wet conditions during an atypical spring season. I typically walked 5-10 miles per day. To say that these shoes exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. They were EXCEPTIONAL in every way... comfort, durability, adaptability, etc. I'm a convert now! I'll only be buying JM shoes!!!

The XC4 Foust Lace to Toe is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. That's why I purchased two of them, a black and brown pair. Also, I continue to purchase Johnston and Murphy shoes based on this fact.

These shoes are very comfortable and well constructed, like most J M shoes. I will enjoy them for years to come.

I tried this on with a competitor's shoe and noticed the difference right a way. It came with some scuffs on the toe but decided to keep.
