I bought these first in the bordeaux color in my normal size (ordered 38 for US size 7.5). They fit well and I had no break in period and no rubbing on the heel as some others described. The support and cushioned footbed are perfect for my feet which need good support and have flat arches. I wore them on a 2 week vacation and then came home and bought them in black. I am wearing them nearly everyday this summer and wear them with linen pants, jeans and casual dresses. Very happy with these!

I usually wear a 7.5 M and in Naots, a 38. These felt - and looked - about 1/2 size too long. There is ample room in the toe box, almost too much for me. A great looking Mary Jane style, the buckled strap actually relies on a velcro closure. The insole is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the top of the heel sits too high and stiff for me. Even after a few steps, I could feel it rubbing against my achilles tendon. I didn't think that wearing it would soften it up much. It is slightly padded, but not enough to counteract the irritation it causes. I would have kept the shoe otherwise, even though it was a little big for me. Really very nice otherwise. I can't say that the heel cuff is too high for everyone. So, it's worth a try.

Not even sure where to start! This shoe will give you blisters on your heel for a day or two but I stuck the blister pad in there and I was fine. After that this is by far MY FAVORITE SHOE EVER!!! It’s stylish, it’s so comfortable. I work in the hospital and walk all over and my feet do not hurt at all. I love these shoes . I wear size 10- try them you won’t be disappointed.

Very comfortable after a break in period. I usually wear a 8 1/2, I got a size 38 and they fit perfect. As another reviewer had said, the heal is high and sturdy, which for me ment a little break in time for my right shoe only, by putting mole skin on my heal. Other than that I really love them.

Got a 6 because that's me usually, but this time it had to be a 5. Otherwise, love it. The Naot I expect and love.

Very comfortable shoe from first wear. I usually wear Birkenstocks so I’m afraid other shoes won’t be supportive enough. These are and feel good on the foot. I’m a 39R in Birks and a 40 in this is perfect.

Fits me like a glove, stable footbed, light weight, strap could be a little longer. Wearing my usual size 38. I have feet that are a bit like Fred Flinstone feet. Wide toe box is a must have for me.

The shoes fit fine, but they dug into the back of my heels, causing blisters. Had to return.

Comfortable BUT… the strap is thin & flimsy and the closure is with Velcro instead of an actual buckle. I was hugely disappointed that the buckle is FAKE. I expected better construction quality for the almost $200 price tag. I did keep them because they are comfortable however I’m leary about whether they will hold up due to the thin strap. Probably won’t purchase another pair of NAOT.

This fit well at my usual size but the arch support was pretty minimal. I chose no arch support but it was really between none and moderate. I've had other Naot's with great support but these were lacking unfortunately. Also - the buckle is fake and it actually is just decorative onto a velcro strap.

I'v had a lot of fun with these shoes,! I worried that they would look too clunky, but I love them. look cute with capris and jeans, which I wear all the time. Arch support is typical for Naot, low to moderate, which is all I can take with my fallen arches and left, pronating, arthritic foot.

Very comfortable from the start with no break in required. The leather is soft, high quality and footbed feels amazing. I go between a 39 and 40 in Birkenstocks and 39 in Dansko. 40 in this shoe fits great!

I want to add an important thing about this particular shoe. This is a wide fit shoe. Naot says so on their website and it is the very thing I need in a shoe. I have two pairs of this style.

These are so cute !! I really read the reviews about the back rubbing the back of the shoe hitting your foot but I have had no issue . This shoe looks great with all pants, and dresses. They are comfortable!!

The shoe felt true to size. The leather was soft and the lining comfortable. I have to wear orthotics and mine did not fit down in the shoe properly. For this reason I had to return them.

I wanted very much to keep these. Size 40 was a. perfect length for my size 9-9.5 feet and width on the narrow side of medium. Excellent comfort and support for my arthritis. But, I found the back of the shoe quite high and dug into the top of my heel. I tried adding a heel pad under the removable insole but it wasn’t enough. The back top edge is well padded and perhaps would soften and stretch over time but I couldn’t be certain of this and couldn’t risk keeping because of cost. Had the heel been a normal height I would have kept them and they would have been well worth the cost given the comfort and excellent construction. Beautiful shoes.

I love this Naot footbed, and I love the look of this “toddler granny” mary jane (I am a granny, it would look quite young on the young). Am going to investigate the style, because a lot of Naots are too tight on my feet but this is not. As others have noted, the back of the heel is quite high, but it softens up. Also you can put your own orthotics in,even though the removable Naot footbed has good support.

I have been wearing size 39 Naot shoes for many years and this is the first time I have found such an oversized shoe. There was enough room in the front of the shoe to take my entire hand and probably an inch of space beyond my toes. The strap was so large that the velcro hung off the end with only a small connection to the rest of the strap. the sides of the shoe were too high and scraped the bottoms of my ankle bones and my heels were way smaller than the heels of the shoes. I love Naots and hope this shoe is just an aberration. Yes, they are going back.

I have lots of Naots, sandals, booties and shoes, and almost always wear a 41. Based on the reviews that these catanias run bit, I bought a 40. They're too short. The toe box is wide like duck feet . . . but the heel feels normal. The strap is short, but okay on my bony medium to narrow feet. I'm surprised at how short it is and it may not fit over larger/wider/fuller feet at all. I'll exchange them for a 41 and see how they fit then. I may or may not keep them due to the very wide and kind of odd looking toe box.

As others have said, the back heel part comes up too high. The front has lots of toe room so it’s otherwise a comfortable shoe.

I have a normal to wide width foot, and this shoe was a very tight fit, so much so that my toes were squashed painfully together. I like the look but am returning them as they are not wearable for me.

These are very cute shoes but uncomfortable. As other reviews note, the hell cup is too deep causing discomfort on back of ankle. I had to return.

I am 45 and have to be on my feet for work. I had been wearing little Keen Mary Janes (Sienna MJ maybe?). These are so much more comfortable! Took a couple days to break in, but really weren’t bad out of the box. I can’t believe how much better my feet and really my whole body feel after work wearing a better shoe. They aren’t the cutest in my opinion, but I am super psyched with them. I think they run just a hair larger than Birkenstocks. Birkenstock does not make half sizes, but if they did, this shoe would be a 40.5 narrow. Well made, high-quality leather, and they feel like they will last a while.

too big, had to return. I bought the size 36, way to big. Didn't have a 35.
