Today’s my feet’s lucky day especially my toes that hate to be boxed up in a stuffy pinchy toe box. I’ve been obsessing over Doctor Marten boots for weeks. The boots are nice but the footbed is a joke. I was reminded of that when I put these puppies on - AHHHHH at last the suede, natural cork & rubber foot bed that my damaged by too many years of stilettos , feet love. It’s all about the footbed as they say at Naot and they’re right. Beautiful leather, medium- semi wide , cushy sole & generous toe box & the best footbed in the industry. Expert craftsmanship. I still wear my 25 year old Naots. Worth every penny. Good support & comfort but still stylish Perfect for medium to wide foot & kind to your poor ole feet!

Incredibly made shoes! These are the top of the line Naot for sure. All leather, with leather insoles, and plastic textured soles. Love the weight, perfect for winter. Size is good, and I was able to wear a normal width, whereas I usually wear a wide width. A bit hard to slip on, and a shoe horn is needed to not damage the back of the shoe.

I take a 39 in Naot (a brand which is basically the only one I use anymore) and these black Lagoon's fit perfectly. I understand previous reviewers who wrote about their feet slipping out of the back of the shoe. My feet also come out when I walk, but they do so in the same way every pair of clogs I've ever worn do (I'm ancient. I go back to the days of the original clogs. I receive Social Security if that gives you an idea of my age). I highly recommend these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and soft and fit great. I haven't worn them enough to report on arch support over time, but I will come back to this space after I've worn them for a while.

This is a beautiful shoe with a really comfortable footbed. I'm having a hard time with the sizing though as with my regular size 36, my heel slips up and down which seems like it will give me blisters. I tried the 35 and it is too small. The heel slippage is not the same kind as the way a clog fits. Maybe it will fit someone else differently as I have trouble finding shoes that work for me.

Love this shoe for comfort and style but it is way too wide for me so I am returning it.

These shoes feel great from the minute you put them on and remain comfortable throughout the day.

Really comfortable arch but after walking around house it was too wide which is unusual for me. My foot kept rolling side to side. Sad to return but if you have a wide foot- try these. Very beautiful craftsmanship and quality just oddly too wide for my otherwise medium to wide foot.

I was happily surprised to see LL Bean sold on Zappos. I have been a customer of LL Bean from the time when you had to call in your order or an actual mail order request. I relied on them to provide quality & durability for all my outdoor chores on my farm as well as kayaking hiking etc. It’s been awhile since I ordered from them. They still got it! These boots are so cute, cozy & and outrageously comfortable footbed as good as Napts amazing footbed. As I remember the Bean runs large in shoes and clothes. I wear a 7.5 in boots & sneakers & these are a 7 and very roomy. You will not regret giving these a walk. They’re awesome!

Nice shoes but after wearing size 40 for years, these are too big by at least half a size

The heel was too loose so I had to return the shoes. They were very nice and comfortable.

Left foot bed feels to have a lump in it that isn’t in the right shoe.

These are gorgeous shoes, and I'm so sorry I can't wear them. They are of an interesting design. As others have noted, the heel is wide and loose. On the other hand, the shoe box seems narrower than the heel; but this is most likely because I have a bunion and arthritis. The shoe box does not accommodate a bunion, and the leather is stiff and inflexible. So I know it won't get better with use.

I love this brand for its quality and style. Own dozens of Naot shoes, sandals and boots, all size 39. This shoe in size 39 is much too large but otherwise great.

The leather wasn’t as soft and supple as my other Naots. They are also too chunky for my petite body

Too narrow in the toe.

My usual size did fit. I have a high instep and yet had no problem getting in and out of the shoe, thanks to the velcro top flap. They're borderline ugly, for my test mostly due to the shiny gold in the back half of the brown pair. I'm sending them back, though, because they are just too heavy. Maybe if it were winter I'd feel differently about them, but generally speaking, I've gotten used to lighter weight shoes.

Felt big and bulky. Looked that way too. Also squeak when walking. Sending back.

Shoe is well made and "substantial", but I felt it was "clunky" and more shoe than I was looking for. I wanted a black ankle-boot for everyday use with jeans and sweaters but this shoe seemed more for heavy-duty working on your feet all day. Sorry, I'll keep trying, but with Zappos I know I'll find it. The absolute best customer service anywhere and a snap to return items that don't work for the intent.

So big and clunky looking - leather was sturdy but also stiff and uncomfortable.

Shoe is very narrow . Very disappointed. Definetly smaller than marked for us customers
