Right out of the box, they fit! Wow, I am gonna be wearing these often. The heel is perfect for my plantar pained feet. I can't do a wedge heel and this one works ideal.

I like the shoe but it’s too small. Also, there’s a flaw in the stitching. I’m returning but hope I can exchange for a larger size.

I love Clarks and have a lot of different styles in the brand, and needed a fall and winter slip-on leather shoe. I also need a high arch support. I thought this would be it, but just didn't work for me...and I tried 3 sizes! I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 womens, depending on the shoe style. Both the 8.5 and 9 were too short and both seemed to be the same length. The fit of the top of the shoe where one inserts the foot on both of these sizes was perfect, though. I decided to go ahead and order the 9.5 when I returned the 8.5, just in case the 9 was also too short in the foot. The 9.5 arrived today and the length of the shoe is fine, but the foot opening is too big around and stood out from my foot leaving a gap between my foot and the edge around the top of the shoe. It didn't fit at all in that area. So, unfortunately, I had to return all 3 sizes and am still on the hunt for the much-needed shoes. Fortunately for anyone with a high arch, these were very comfortable in that area.

This shoe is better looking than the photos on this site. The black leather is not too shiny but not too dull, and the stitching adds some class to what would otherwise be a very plain clog. I wish it came in other colors because I would order more. I fully agree with all of the reviewers who suggest ordering at least a 1/2 size up. I have a very small foot — a size 5 and 1/2 is my usual size but sometimes that is even too big on me. Given the advice in other reviews, I ordered this in a size 6 and it’s fine but snug. I have never worn a shoe larger than a 6 and this one is fine but, yes, smaller than you’d expect. All of that said, it’s a very comfortable clog, both practical and stylish!

I always have a tricky time with clarks -- sometimes I'm an 8-1/2, sometimes a 9, and every once in a while, an 8. I had ordered these originally in an 8-1/2 which were too small; the 9's fit okay but only with thin socks. So in this particular style, I might have been a 9-1/2 (I've returned Clarks's size 9's before In a different style because they were too big). So, hmmm... maybe order up (at least a half size, possibly a whole size) depending on what type of sock you'd be wearing. I'm basically treating these as "bare foot" shoes. But they are VERY comfortable!

I think the fit was a bit small for a size 10 but there's no half size up, only 11 and that may be too big. No problem though . I am keeping them. They are nice looking and the width is fine. Just a wee bit short in length.

Clarks are tricky for me -- sometimes I wear an 8, but then in another style, an 8-1/2 is too small. Sometimes 9 is too big. This pair (size 8-1/2) were too small. If I can get the right fit, I love them. But unfortunately I return them at least half the time because of the sizing.

These Clarks are very nice, but I probably needed a half size larger. I have a problem foot, so it's really not the shoe as much as my problem.

Width for medium was snug.

I ordered a size 6, I have a few pairs of Clark’s all size six. This pair of shoes seem a little snug but I feel sure that with wear they will be a perfect, comfortable fit.

Out of the box they felt like my shoes. Comfortable, accepted my orthotic (though barely) and felt like I could wear them all day. But then when I sat down I noticed that my heal was very far from the back of the shoe. Zappos didn't have a half size smaller in stock so I ordered from another company. I hope they fit and if so I'll return the long ones. (If the smaller size doesn't fit I may keep the long ones. That's how comfortable they are.)

Fit and size were smaller than other size 8 Clarks clog I have worn before.

Not as comfortable as many other Clarks clogs I have worn for years.

Clark’s wide usually work for my wide feet, but these were too narrow, even though they were marked as wide.

Disappointed that the inside "hem" of the clog was twill fabric and would not last over many wearings.
