The box says the shoe is W, but those are very narrow. The insole says C (Regular Width) so I'm wondering if the shoe was put on the wrong box.

Looked like a great shoe but always wear narrow and this was too narrow.

These were too wide in the toe box. Also the material was very strange - more like plastic that would be used on a sandal designed to go in water.

I wear a wide shoe size 6. I really liked these shoes but the toe box is too narrow even though I ordered and received a Wide.

This is a leather shoe with a sneaker look. I think some reviewers might be disappointed because they're expecting more of a cushiony sneaker feel. While the sole is thick and light, the shoe itself is stiff and needs to be worn in like any leather shoe. It did feel somewhat narrow at first, but has loosened up with wear. Love the pewter -- flashy, but subtle. Great for a work day with lots of walking.

9.5 was too small, 10 too wide in toe box. Liked th3 shoe, couldn’t get the right fit.

The shoe was a big long but that is better than too short, and I love that Softwalk offers narrows in my extended (11 size). But the openings for the laces was weird -- the laces are flat and wide -- think a dried fettucine noodle -- and once I loosened them enough to put on the shoes, I couldn't just tighten them. The holes were either too small or not the right shape. Because it is so very rare to find narrows, I may see if I can find other laces before returning them, but if not, back they will go.

Didn't see it as substantial walking shoe

These are lovely shoes—athletic, but light and more elegant than the usual walking shoe. They may not be as supportive or stabilizing as a heavier shoe, but comfortable and stylish. I can walk all day in these and still wear them to a nice restaurant in the evening. They are very black, so they blend in with dark pants very nicely.

AT LAST!!! a narrow shoe that is narrow enough! excellent support with secure lacing. Soft, comfortable!

The shoes was very stiff. The tongue was too long

Softwalk Stella appears to be a well-constructed, stylish shoe made of real leather and other quality materials. This shoe, and the box that it was in, are not marked at all to indicate that it is a Wide width, which is what I ordered. The shoe is marked with a 9 1/2 on the bottom of the outsole. I own other Softwalk wide width shoes from at least 5 years ago, and these shoes feel narrower. I believe that perhaps these shoes are actually a Medium width, and not the Wide width that I ordered. I would exchange them, but I don't believe that I will be able to get an actual wide width. Too bad, because I think I would have liked them if they had fit. Zappos, you need to do a better job managing your inventory.

HARD Walk - not Soft Walk. The shoes looked nice but felt absolutely terrible, hard, inflexible and cheap. No room at add gel padding inside (which could have helped soften the rock hard feel) so it was a return.

I don't know if I got a mis-marked pair, but these should have been a 10.5 wide and I could barely get my feet in them. I compared them to a size 10 I own and they were half an inch smaller than that pair, in length and width. I am returning.
