I ordered these for my son who was looking for a lightweight hiking shoe/boot. They fit to size and are very comfortable.

Super comfortable for outdoor hiking. I bought this pair last minute and it was worth it. I can use it for hiking and just casual wear purposes.

Perfect balance of support and bounce for fast walking distance. I use for road walking 40-50 miles a week, sole last 6-12 months. Care needs to be taken putting them on as they are susceptible to tearing below the pull loop in heel, but if you know not to force them they last longer. Ridiculously expensive, I buy them in whatever colour when cheap on a deal. Size up 1 size.

Very nicely constructed. I suggest buying half a size up for comfort. I like them even better for not having goretex because they drain more easily and dry much faster. Great for trail running or light dayhikes or overnight UL backpacking.

the free hiker 2 is not waterproof but is very comfortable

Perfect, wanted a pair for a long time, went down to a great price. Confortable and functional cannot complain! Went a half size up and would reccomend doing so as do fit tight.

I used these as a trail runner for years when it was the terrex 2 parley with the continental sole. I have wide feed and used orthopedic inserts and they fit great. A little squeak but not too bad

Love the feel of these hiking shoes. The built-in gator helps keep gunk of all kinds out, the tread is supple and grippy, and the cushioning is just right to help w/ comfort but allow the feel of the trail. Perfect combo of features & style.
