Hiked all over Arizona in this shoe. Comfiest hiking shoe I've ever owned. The shoe fits phenomenally as well.

Toe region is spacious. May not have as good of a grip on sandy/grainy areas. Pretty good grip on most other terrains. It is waterproof but made useless if water goes inside the shoe. The boost cushioning is nice for long endurance hikes. Can work well in winter as well if you have excellent insulated socks. Shoe sizing is on point so even ordering online works. One of the most good looking hiking shoe around

Great fit! The forefoot is accommodating for a wide foot, but not sloppy wide. Great cushioning with the BOOST technology. I water tested the boots and submerged them in 3" of water for 15 minutes and they were completely dry on the interior of the boot. Heel to toe roll off mimics a running shoe.

I purchased these boots specifically because I was tired of my feet getting wet while playing disc golf and hiking and I love them. Feet stay dry and I'm a huge fan of the boost/ Continental materials.

I've been thoroughly impressed with these hiking shoes after a few trail outings. Despite their high-top design, they are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. The ankle support provided me with confidence on uneven, rocky terrains. The water resistance feature kept my feet dry during unexpected wet conditions. Additionally, the grip is exceptional and I never once felt unstable or at risk of slipping. I highly recommend them!

The size is perfect, the boots fit nicely, and you can immediately feel the bounce and support for your knees while hiking.

Amazing gortex water resistant material. The inside of the shoes are awesome. They fit great and are even lighter and more comfortable than I thought they would be. Overall great shoes and good price for t features that come with these shoes.

my husband works at a golf course and these hiking shoes are the 1st time he's kept his feet dry in years. They are also very comfortable with ample support while he's trimming up and down hills. He's never been so happy. Your feet are very important and these hikers are a blessing. So much so I just bought him a second pair!

They are great. My husband has a pair for work and a pair for just casual wearing. These are his 3rd pair because he replaced his work ones last month.

Perfect hiking boot for spring/summer/autumn.
I would say you would need a different boot for winter walking.

These are great hiking mid shoes/boots. There is plenty of support in the ankle, and the lace up closure keeps them on tight, but comfortably so. The tongue even has great padding.
The Gore Tex membrane is seen throughout the inside giving a great sense of confidence that you'll remain dry when the trail gets wet.
They're maybe a touch warm, but not too bad with my thin Smartwool socks.
The Boost midsole is phenomenal! You get a bounce off energy each step you take with these on. They make hiking a breeze.

This time, I ordered a US size 11.5. A better fit (for me) than my previous purchase of the olive green high-cut free hiker 2.0 at US size 11. Should be an OK shoe when I already have 8 pairs of Free Hiker 2.0 (5 low-cut, 1 high-cut and 2 leather high-cut) from previous purchases. Long live the Free Hiker 1 2.0....
