I have to write a review about these shoes. I recently tore a tendon in my right ankle that has forced me to wear a brace with metal supports, and few shoes would fit the brace. I needed a shoe that had back support by the heel to protect the area of the tear while having open toes since the brace forces my foot forward and causes few shoes to fit without going up a size. I thought a supportive sandal would do the trick and these work beautifully. They not only fit the brace but they're so damn comfortable, and the straps are designed so that they fit over the width of the brace. I, also, like the fact that they're sized to fit two sizes. Depending on the make of a shoe, I can be either an 8 1/2 or a 9. These are sized at 8 1/2 to 9, so they were a no-brainer. Also, for those struggling to find shoes that accommodate braces following an injury and are looking for ones that have closed toes, Converse All-Star Lift Platform lace-up sneakers and Palladium Pallabase lace-up ankle boots work really well, too. I wear my Converse to therapy.

unfortunately THESE SHOES WERE TOO LONG IN LENTGH AND WIDTH FOR MY NARROW FOOT.. i NOTISED A STRANGE SMELLS tHEY SMELLED VERY VERY MUSTY!! The S HOES THEMSELVES LOOKED FINE. MY DAUGHTER COMMENTED ON THE SMELL ALSO AND SAID IT WAS A MUSTY SMELL, LIKE THEY HAD BEEN IN A WET AREA, OR SOMETHING. i MEANT TO PUT A NOTE IN THE BOX WHEN i RETURNED THEM, SO THE OOMPANY WOULD REALIZE THERE WAS A PROBLEM., BUT i FORGOT TO DO THAT.

I can use my custom orthotics in these sandals, which makes them pretty perfect IMO. I’ve worn them a lot as I’ve recovered from a total knee replacement and appreciate the comfort and fit.

I haven’t worn these shoes outside yet, too cold. Have worn them around the house and I think they are very comfortable. I dislocated my shoulder 8 weeks ago from a weak ankle. These shoes have ankle support, waiting for the warmer weather to wear outside.

Great sandals, very stable and supportive with the closed in heel. I purchased the black and it looks attractive on. This shoe has the support of a hiking sandal but everyday versatile good looks.

I love these! Very comfortable, especially the inner sole. The velcro closures are very adjustable. I have a hammer toe and this sandal accommodates it nicely.

I really like these! The sandal actually felt a quarter size small if we're talking 11. Also, I have a midland foot width but need/like a wide footbed. The sandals have a great footbed, but the straps at the ankle and center foot were too long for me by 3/4" to a full inch, and stuck out. So I had my local shoemaker take cut and re-sew the straps.

Beautiful sandals. The heel piece rose quite high. I was concerned it would bother me on a vigorous walk.

I'm a Wolky fan but this pair just didn't cut it. Too narrow is my main reason for returning.

Both shoes fit very comfortable, right away, no working in... I like the Wolky brand and have about 7 different pairs.

Size was great but felt like the heel would cause a blister. May have broken in eventually but elected to return.

These are beautiful shoes that I wanted to keep. However, unlike other Wolky sandals they do not have removable insoles for orthotics. It’s really strange that one of their only sports sandals styles didn’t allow orthotics, Frustrated.
