I was so worried about these shoes but I took a chance on them, despite the reviews because I really liked them and I'm glad I did. These shoes fit me perfect and had no problem getting them on even though they have no zipper. The heel is the perfect height, they fit my leg perfectly with perfect amount of space not to loose not to tight. They are so comfortable can't wait to wear them.

Calf is a little wide, but love the way they look over jeans. I would not be able to wear with tights.

While this boot does not have a zipper, I did purchase it after reading reviews that others had difficulty getting the boot on. This was not the case for me (and I have large calves). The boot was easy to get on. The leather is sumptuous and the heel is just right. Looks great with skirts, jeans etc. Very happy with this purchase and like most Cole Haan shoes/boots, is very comfortable.

Soft leather, ideal walkable heel height - not too high or too low. A beautiful, quality everyday basic that should last a long time.

Comfortable and practical

This boot is so beautifully crafted with soft supple leather and a perfect toe box and heel. Unfortunately, placement for a zipper was not designed with this boot. As a result the ankle area is roomier to allow the foot to access the bottom of the boot. But when completely on, the boot puckers at the ankle taking away a sleek, slender look that I was hoping for so sadly I returned the Chrystie boot.

A really handsome boot. Only downside is the leather (if it even is leather?) feels very cheap and thin, which I guess is not surprising for the price point, but I did expect at least a little bit better for a three figure price tag.
