Leather is pretty and soft. These boots are tall, size 9 measures 18" long for the leather part and opening circumference is 15". Just in time before winter is gone.

The quality is great as usual. However, I should have listened to the person who should have listened to the person who wrote a review saying the shaft of the boot is not flexible or for someone with bigger calves.

Love the boots and fit well in the calf. Bi have wide calf. The foot is a bit snug since I have wide feet, but I think they will stretch out.

The shaft is a bit wide for me but the rest of the boot is excellent so I don't mind. I wear with tucked in skinny jeans and oversized sweaters and get many compliments on the boots.

Beautiful boot and fits great! I normally wear wide calf but this has stretch and works perfectly without having gaps toward the knee. Love the chunky bottom as it looks more modern.

Love this boot. I have wider calves and it fits perfectly, with room to tuck jeans too.

I am 5'4 with thinner calves. Based upon reading the reviews, I had concerns of the tall shaft height and calf width as possibly being too tall/ too large. Fortunately, upon trying on they fit me with a little extra gap at top but not bad. I like them very much! Seems a true to size 6 but wearing first time, boots did give me blisters on back of feet. A little stiff on the foot. Overall, I would recommend but the fit is either spot on or not. I'd say if you like, it's worth the gamble!

I have athletic calves (15 1/2") & this boot works great as long as I didn't wear too thick of a jean with it. The waterproof feature of this boot is awesome & I put it through the test on weekend. Very comfortable to wear all day & can be dressed up or down.

Comfort amd style, exactly what I wanted. They feel sturdy but comfortable enough. Not for long, extended walking, but will be comfortable enough if you have to walk a while.

The boots are extremely comfortable. Every time I wear them I get compliments.
