Typically OR gear fits true to size and fits me well. I own various gloves and mittens in size XL and they all fit great. Likewise with OR clothing. However, these particular gloves fit VERY tight. They are NOT XL in size. In addition to being tight everywhere, the fingers are super short. So for a really expensive pair of gloves, I haven't been able to wear them and can't comment on their long term heating ability in the field.

This is my second pair of heated gloves from OR. My first pair work so well, I needed something a bit lighter. The Sureshot checks that box. Perfect for light to very cold weather (for Wisco that's at and below freezing), for all sorts of use and applications such as casual wear or skiing

My wife uses heated gloves because of her raynaud's. I bought her a pair of the women's Sureshot gloves and they have worked amazing for dog walking and skate skiing. So I thought a pair might work well for me when I get cold hands hunting and resort skiing.
Typically I like large loose gloves like Kinko's for work and I wear Large Extavert's when skiing, both in and out of bounds. By the size chart I am a medium, but I always wear an XL Kinko since I do have big hands, but not sausage finger hands. I bought the XL so that I could wear thin liners, which don't fit in my Large Extravert gloves, but I KNOW I will not be able to wear liners with these Sureshot gloves because I can barely fit my fingers into the gloves. The liner with the heater elements is loose and oversized and I just don't know how they are going to work.
My hope is that they will break in with some time and loosen up like leather gloves typically do. But these aren't leather, so maybe the won't. Time and winter will tell, and winter is coming.

I ordered the gloves, using my standard glove size, and they are wa too small.

won't heat for longer than 45 mins on LOW. PLUS they are not warm all over the gloves.
