I have travelled to France, Switzerland and skied with these socks. They are comfortable, thin, easy to wear and warm.

I wear them almost daily along with previously purchased Smartwool socks. They're comfortable, wash well and don't bind at the calf. My only wish would be that their wool content could be higher & more obvious to the touch as older ones are.

Wear daily to work in winter. Easy to switch from shoes to ski boots.

I use these for general cold weather when I want to keep my feet warm. I use a silk sock liners and these and stay comfortable. I like the added length to keep my lower legs warm, because if my feet are cold, then I start to ache.

I used these almost every day for work. I work in race boots and needs socks that are think but don't wear down. These are perfect.

I have small, skinny feet and wide calves. I need the size Small for the performance fit (size 6.5 - 7). These are the best ski socks ever because they are thin, warm and have enough give in the legs to not cut off circulation! I find myself wearing them under my regular pants as well because I love them so much!

Love the feel of these socks. No cushioning and a perfect weight. My favourite style is ankle so I push them down mostly except for skiing - which is their primary purpose.

I live in Honolulu. The only time I need a warm clothing is for trips to cold clime. I hav experience with Smartwool. I used to depend on their dresses and skits when I was on such a trip. I'm going to Japan in February, so naturally I thought of supplementing my wardrobe with these calf socks!

Bought to replace my worn out 10 year old Smartwool ski socks. Wore to ski my local hill. Will pack them for my Big Sky trip in a few weeks!

I wear over the calf socks all winter and have had a hard time finding plain black ones. These Smartwool socks are exactly what I have been looking for. They fit perfectly, stay up all day and aren't bulky. Others have made my shoes and boots so tight that my feet got cold the opposite of what I want!

I first bought these socks for skiing many years ago, but now buy them regularly for everyday use. They are warm in winter and cool in summer, do not smell, wash easily, and the model I bought are dark colored and not flashy. Perfect for me.
