Shoes were much narrower than my usual "medium" width shoes. Style was okay but nothing great. Arch hit me in the wrong place on my foot, making them even more uncomfortabla. Returning them.

Depending on brand and style, I usu. wear 8R, occasionally 8-1/2W. I've worn and liked Clark's. I ordered 8-1/2W in this shoe. Zappos Size, Width Support options do not give enough options fr response. The length is OK on me. not at all too long/short. But it is not a wide shoe! The soft material collapses around my toes. Very snug with no wiggle room. There is little arch support. I removed the insole and replaced with my 4/4 orthotic. Better but not good. I had ordered a Ryca Echo Mesh in 8R, wide toe box, narrow heel, used my orthotic. Worked better. Will keep and return Clarks.

I like the style, but this pair didn't live up to the Clarks standard that I used to buy with confidence. They felt like stiff plastic. I have a hard time getting shoes that fit, so it's with regrets that I'm sending these back. I wear a 9 1/2 medium width... although I'm at the outer edge of what constitutes medium.

They were oddly narrow in one spot across my foot.
