I use these socks as my everyday hiking and about town comfy sock.

Always love my Smartwool socks!!

Keep my feet warm on sub-freezing, snowy trail runs early in the morning. They also wash up well, and I always line-dry them. I'm anticipating they will last me a long time.

I traveled through Ireland by foot one year with maybe three changes of clothes and essentials. The smart wool socks, were one of the items. Hikef in them day after day and washed them a couple times in between and they never smelled, were never too hot on warm days, and never left my feet cold on the cool days. Smart wool socks still perform as well as they did 10 years ago. Love them.

I love that these are warm and come higher up the ankle. The fit is a bit too large in the toes, but they are awesome other than that! #SMARTWOOLLOVE

These were purchase for my daughter-in-law, but I kept them and bought the Intrakit sweater for her.

While we haven't seen the usual snowfall this year so far, there have been a few days below freezing that were perfect to test these socks out. I usually get a large in smart wool socks and the winter moss Lg in this fit as expected. They kept my feet warm and dry after being outside for 2+ hours. They've held their shape through three washer and dryer trips, and I've managed not to loose oneyet. (a holiday miracle) Thanks SmartWool. #SMARTWOOLLOVE

Love the fit feels snug with the right amount of cushion. I wear a women's 10 shoe but have a low volume narrow foot and these fit perfect! #smartwoollove

Have worn them once and was a little disappointed. Under the ball of one foot it felt like the material was pilling very uncomfortable and affected my run. Felt the sock for particles and couldn't find any, it was something about the fabric and only on the one sock. I usually love smart wool socks so hoping whatever is was gets fixed by running it through the washing machine.

These socks are magic! When I first put them on, I wasn't sure how warm they'd keep my toes on my 18 run as they were thinner than I expected, but my feet stayed nice and toasty the entire time! Very comfortable and did not move around, despite being a little large. Highly recommend!! #SmartwoolLove

For a non runner these are perfect paired with a pair of ankle boots. I wear the Chacos Chelsea boot, and this sock with the padded heel and toe area is the perfect compliment. They are warm, comfortable, and stay up nicely without being restrictive. #smartwoollove

This sick is amazing!!! I love it for cold weather runs in Montana winters, but more than that it's a great overall everyday sock as well. Fits perfectly to the foot and my feet don't sweat at all! Highly recommend!!!

My only complaint is the high price per pair other than that the best socks I have ever worn

I live these socks!! Winter weather is coming in Pennsylvania..and it's great to find warm socks for running...feet stay dry and warm...highly recommend!

I have been wearing them on my walks to school and work and they are very good for temperature regulating. Cold walks to running around a retail store.

Very comfortable. Nice fit around the arch, crew height is good for warm ankles on cold weather activities, and for boot use. Plush padding around heel + toes. Wearable indoors too. I really like the simple pattern design and the purple/green colour combination. Definitely keeps your toes toasty, but not sweaty. I like using them for my winter commutes. First place I noticed a little bit of wearing was pilling on the top of my big toes. #SmartwoolLove

These are a great run socks. The targeted cushion fits well in running shoes and stays put while running. I also have the regular run socks and don't notice a difference in the thickness or cushioning. I am not sure what makes them a cold weather run sock. But regardless, they are a good sock. #SmartWoolLove

I ran 5 kilometers in temperatures in temperatures around 0C or 32F in my cold weather run socks. My feet were super comfortable. Neither too hot or too cold. Smart wool running socks stay in place in running shoes. Your heel does not step out of the sock. I know this from customers comments at the Whistler Smartwool store where I work and personnel experience.

Great sock, love the targeted support. I have Plantar fasciitis and this sock feels very supportive. I got too large a size though. I recommend staying close to your actual foot size. The height is really nice. Gives good coverage on cold days when wearing a low cut hiker and crop pants. It's also easy to slouch down! #SmartwoolLove

I use these for running in cold weather. Warm and not too thick to fit in my running shoes

The cushioning of the foot is great, but the 'crew' part of the sock is tight, the top of the sock is too snug. I am surprised because I have skinny legs overall. Maybe I need to purchase men's socks, hoping for a less snug fit in the lower tibia area of the leg. I am bummed out. Because of the way it is woven, i.e. woven to stay put, it squeezes the leg too much. I folded the crew part down, but basically the sock is uncomfortable for wearing all day, except for the foot part. Probably an ankle high version of this would be fine. I will be probably be donating this pair to someone else, or only wearing gor a limited time, when I go for a walk, then removing, when I get home. For an improvement in fit, I suggest a women's foot fit, but a men's upper part of the sock, assuming the men's does not have the same tightness issue.
