Disappointed with these as far as the very loose weave which makes them not warm at all. Not even nice to wear around the house. Will donate them to local woman's shelter.

I love the snowflake design on these socks. They're an everyday warm sock. But...PLEASE make them longer!! They're too short! Your LLBean Cresta Wool socks are the perfect length for winter. I'd buy more pairs of the snowflake sock if they were a couple inches longer. I've spoken with another buyer who said the same.

Disappointed. These are not as soft and comfortable as the dozens of Smartwool socks I have purchased previously. The bottoms feel almost "rough".

Well-made and cozy warm, these Smartwool socks are perfect for chilly days. However, Smartwool's sizing seems to run smaller every year. You will need to size up on these because even when washed in cold water and hung to dry, they will shrink!

I love wool socks but smart wool socks for women seem to run small. In fact, whether I am in a store or online shopping, they never seem to have a women's large. So I will probably not buy this brand again.

These are warm but not bulky. Nice design. I wanted to love them but they don't fit secure to your foot. They quickly started to fall down and slide off when I wore them with my muck boots. I will only be able to wear them with shoes/boots that are tightly laced.

Lovely, but elastic separated very early into wearing. Soft and not scratchy, perfect if it weren't for elastic problem.

These socks are very soft & thick, unfortunately they tend to rotate in my shoes as I walk. They take a long time to dry in low heat. Not my favorite but I'll use them in the house.

Cute but not warm. Gets baggy when you wear them and slip around on your foot. I don't love these.

I bought 6 pairs (one of them was a promotion gift) Smartwool socks; for the first time. They are really below my expectations. They are so ordinary. I was ready to pay more for a real better wool socks. The price is not worth the benefits and the features.

Bought L and M because I wasn't sure what size would fit best. Medium was too small. Laundered large socks based on instructions (wash warm, dry on low) and they shrank considerably so they don't fit.

Love the pattern but these are not typical Smartwool quality. They are pulling and scraggly looking, and the Smartwool logo on the sole is peeling off- on all other pairs of Smartwool socks I have, the logo is woven in. Very strange! Not sure if Smartwool sold at LL Bean is lower quality but definitely seems like.

The sock had a defect and became unraveled where the heel ( black) joins the sole ( black and white). Poor quality

Runs too small and couldn't get a large for Christmas gifts

With the way they are knit, the loopy stitches on the inside are toe and toenail catchers. I caught a toenail the very first time I put them on. They are pretty but I would not buy them again.

These socks are very small and barely go above your ankle. Deceptive advertising misrepresenting what you actually get. They are not any warmer than a regulate sock and not soft more of a rough wool feel. I am very disappointed in LLBean. I guess I'll have too give the $27 socks to a child.
