Inferior looks, fit & comfort vs. my other SmartWool socks

These feel great on & are warm, cozy socks. I also love the print!
I'm concerned about the durability of the socks because there are several loose threads between the different prints/parts of the sock. I hope they hold up.

I bought Smartwool socks for the first time. I bought 6 pairs for my daughters and wife. The socks are fine but fine as an ordinary product. They do not have special characteristics and sth more than the cheaper socks. I was expecting more in comparison to ordinary socks without wool. I was ready to pay more for real good wool socks but as I mentioned they are just fine as an ordinary socks then it makes their price too high. I recommend the brand to offer better products even the price has to be high. Additionally, the inventory is very insufficient.

I love the design and they are comfortable socks but the cushioning isn't the same as the other full cushion socks. A little bit disappointing as this is the reason for the purchase.

They are very thick, warm and cozy. But they are so thick, I can only wear them with boots or shoes that are wide enough and hence, you can't see them. I prob won't buy them again because they are too expensive to not be seen.

I find these socks to be aesthetically pleasing, and I appreciate their comfortable fit. However, a notable drawback, particularly during the winter season, is that they are advertised as full cushion socks, yet they are relatively thin. In comparison, I possess the Hike Classic Full Cushion socks, which are considerably thicker. If warmth is a priority in your selection of socks, I would not recommend these. Nevertheless, if aesthetic appeal holds greater significance for you, these socks could be a solid choice.

These socks get 5 stars for being lovely looking socks, for being well made, and for fitting around my calf nicely (a lot of crew socks can be too tight for wider calves, but these aren't).
They lose 2 stars for being too thin in the toe box (the no-show sock I bought for summer is thicker than these) and for not having enough cushion. I contacted customer service and was told the snowflake ones would be thicker, but both have the same descriptors (full cushion, sweater feel). I would have sent them back for this, but was told I would have to pay for shipping. I've never returned socks and didn't think I would ever feel the need to return SmartWool socks as I have a few hiking pairs that I love. These ones are a disappointment in terms of warmth. They're winter socks. they should be warm. They most definitely don't have a sweater feel. I hope they make these thicker in the future. Now I'm stuck with socks that probably won't keep my feet all that warm and I bought 3 pair...

These are attractive, warm, and comfy, although they fit loosely. Sadly, upon putting them on I noticed a hole along the toe seam: hence on sale?

I wanted the same thick sock I got last year and this had the same name. But they're not as warm so I'm disappointed.

This pair was like the others, they kept sliding down.

I wear these every day for the many months it is cold in the Northeast. They are comfortable and warm, hug my narrow heels, and are not tight on my calf, as almost all other Smartwool socks are. But what this sock lacks is reinforced heels and toes, thus they are not long wearing.

This pair was just ok. A bit disappointed with Smartwool everyday popcorn cable crew socks. Did not feel nice and soft like other pairs I have. This was a replacement pair to a pair that was defective. Would not buy this particular cable crew again.

The fabric and "color" is great. But the ribbing at the top is way too tight. It leaves indents in my leg and just feels like it's cutting off some circulation and I have small legs.. I weigh 101 lbs at 5'4" so it's not because my legs are fat and they are not holding excess fluid either. They dont need to be this tight. I dont like returns and I like the rest of the sock so I cringed while I cut off the top of the socks. I could not actually wear them unless I did this. ugh. And months ago I bought another pair in a different style and it was the same thing. Now I've had to cut off 2 pairs of new expensive socks from this brand. It's a shame because I like their other products and I love the fabric but no I wont buy the socks again.

I got 2 pairs and they are cute, soft, and comfortable. Unfortunately a hole appeared after only a few months where the heel meets the body of the sock. I did not expect that from a quality brand like Smartwool.

These look very nice but after buying these, I realized that I have an older pair that wore out way too fast in the heel. Would not buy again.

Super cute, and not near as cushy and comfortable as the regular hikers. A bit disappointed because they cost the same.

I love nearly everything about these socks, the pattern, the warm wool fiber....everything but the fit.
I wear a size 8 Medium women's shoe and have always bought medium size socks. These were very small, short in length and looked like children's socks and pinched my toes. So I returned them.
The Customer Service was excellent and explained the pair I received may have been defective.

These socks (popcorn) were advertised as "full cushion" and they are not. The first pair of smartwool socks one month ago were full cushion so I know the difference. I am going to phone customer service.

These socks are so cute and great to wear with leggings and boots where the top shows, I get compliments on the style all the time and have given many as gifts, BUT, they don't last like other smartwool socks, every pair I have purchased either gets a hole in the heel in the first season or comes with a defect that causes a hole within the first wear or two. There has to be a way to adjust the footbed so it wears as well as other smartwool socks!

I am very disappointed with these socks. I have many pair of smartwool socks that I love. These are of less quality. They're supposed to be full cushioned and feel like they have no cushioning. They're actually rough feeling on the bottom of my feet.

These socks were not up to the standards of Smartwool sock I have come to expect. The socks had lots of pilling and fuzzing at the intersections of the wool.

These socks have a very loose weave. I bought 5 different patterns of this everyday sock, and I can almost see my toes through them. This is great for breathability, but terrible for comfort, cushioning and durability. I was going to wash/dry a pair to see if that helped, but after wearing a pair for 5 hours in a shoe, it already has a hole. I don't think I snagged it on anything, but then again, that's what you get with such a weave. Really surprised by all the great reviews. I'll be returning all of them.
