Great socks, very good quality that stay in your feet.

These cable crew socks aren't as thick as their hiking socks so they don't wear as well over time. However, these socks are lighter and perfect for year round wearing to work and for play. They keep my feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I have about 20 pairs of the exact same cable crews in black and I just throw out socks when they wear out and buy a few new pair every year. As they all match, it's easy to sort and I'm never looking for the match.

I love these. I've been wearing them for years. I'm a southern farmer and around here it gets cold enough to need more than cotton socks but not cold enough for heavy wool socks. These cable socks are just right. They are warm, comfortable, don't loose stretchiness and machine wash/dry. They are durable! Most of my pairs are over five years, pushing ten. So why am I just now reviewing said socks? I recently bought some as a gift and was invited to review.

Nice socks for office that help keep me warm. Hoping they are durable enough for weekly wear.

I now have 8 pairs of these socks. They have replaced all my "performance fit" (which really means "terribly tight") socks. They don't come in fancy colors or patterns, but they have a great feature-- they don't leave dents in my legs! I am too thin, if anything, so it's not that-- I just got tired of the marks left by power-stretch socks like Darn Tough. I WILL put my socks in the dryer, so although I wear a size 6 shoe I buy a Large size. After the dryer, they fit just right!

These socks in black are the only socks I've bought for several years. Soft, sturdy, comfortable, wash and dry perfectly.

I wear these socks with dress pants and dress shoes several days a week. They are the perfect thickness and height. :-)

These are my favorite socks. They are a little thicker and cozier for colder weather, but still breathable for any season!

My second pair of navy crew socks. My first pair wore out. I tried another brand and was so unhappy with them. These are the perfect thickness for me.

Fit was wonderful. The material is cool and durable. I found I prefer merino wool socks instead.

My son loves these! He normally wears the crew socks but these are a bit jazzier for dressier times.

Immediately put on and they have kept my feet and warm. They seem to wear really well so far and look great.

The best thing about these socks is that there is no bulky toe seam. I have bunions, so socks with that toe seam can be horribly painful after just a short time wearing them. These keep my ankles warm and are super comfortable without being ugly or clumpy or falling down. I have a grey pair and am ordering navy now. Great job Smartwool!
