Love these socks, have worn them for years. I ordered the Dark Sage color which is not as shown on the website. They are definitely not dark or green. Look more like light gray with a slight tinge of green.

Both pairs got holes in after the first wear. Sent them back!

These socks are lovely. Please note that the Picante color is not a true red. I just received them and they are a rust color. I love the fit of them and durability. I really wanted a true red cable knit sock.

The purple color is fantastic - ordered M but the heel was oddly uncomfortable and kept slipping.

The fossil color is actually closer to a chocolate brown. They have changed colors since my first pair. I've tried to replace my original pair, which was more taupe as the photo indicates but I received a brown pair.

Like everything these days, you get less for more. These are well made but seem to have very little merino wool content, very thin like liners but priced like real socks.

I was very disappointed to discover upon delivery that the wool content listed on the sock hanger was substantially less than in the description on the Smartwool website. (~62% vs ~74%) This is a "bait and switch" in my book. I decided not to return them as I didn't want to go through the hassle and I will wear them. However, I did not receive the product that I thought I was purchasing. In fact, this was the case with all three pairs of socks I ordered; the percentage of wool was much less less than stated on the website.

Yes they are wool but not as soft and comfortable as I remember. Cable knit doesn't lay flat and they are a little small on me. I'm a women size 9 and got medium.

Not crazy about these socks. The fabric is not soft at all, more rough, not what I was looking for in an everyday sock. I returned them.

I love the cable and the color of these socks. They don't stay up though which is kind of annoying.

These socks are fine, but the sizing is not. I wear a 5 1/2 or 6 shoe, so I bought the small per the sizing chart. If you like your socks so tight they cause your toes to curl , then buy the recommended size. If you want room for your toes to move, order up.

These are fine as they were marketed as no extra cushion, but I expected the cable knit to be the thicker. They fit a bit large until I washed them and put them in the dryer.

I purchased these socks and other smart wool socks as gifts and do love them. I am disappointed though that they have shrunk. This isn't a problem for me cuz they're still big enough for me but my husbands shrunk too much.

Not as substantial as I'd hoped, and shrank in cold wash and air dry. Kind of disappointed.

I love the thinner smart wool socks, but one pair had faulty stitching, and a hole emerged on the first wearing. I repaired it and will likely be able to keep wearing it, but I was disappointed in the quality.

I was hoping for something heavier to keep my feet warm. I have very cold feet. These are ok if I double them up.

Been wearing these socks for maybe 20 years but the ones I bought the last few years are not holding up as well. They don’t stay up as well which exposes the top of my leg between my pants in my shoe. I’m going to have to look for something longer that will stay up.

I have always loved these cable socks. I see you have made the herl area of the sock a bit heftier.
Thanks

They keep my feet warm in our chilly office but they slide down my legs throughout the day which is why I gave 3 stars. The Smartwool dress sock pair I had before and wore out didn't have that issue so I'm super annoyed by it.

Beautiful color and pattern. Way too short and lightweight (if not downright flimsy) for me. Absurdly overpriced. I passed them on to my neighbor, who adores them. They are beautiful.
