Smartwool socks are always solid. These are great for a long day on the cold slopes.

I purchased them as a gift for my snowboarding grandson

Not sure if it was just a bad pair but I can only give the one star. After half a day on the first wear the lose elasticity and lets not get into what they looked like after one wash.

So. In law loves them!

Comfortable, just long enough, they don't bunch up inside the boot.

Great socks - warm and durable

Warm and comfortable, but keep falling down.

I've purchased 4 different pairs of Smartwool socks over the past couple years. 3 out of 4 of those pairs have shrunk when I washed them, even when following the Smartwool instructions. The first pair of Smartwool snowboard socks I bought also shrunk to the point they were unwearable. Also, I'm 5'7", wear a size 8 shoe and bought a medium. The socks definitely do not fit over my calfs. I left two stars because the Smartwool customer service was good and refunded the socks. Overall, good customer service but I'm giving upnon Smartwool socks.
