Kept me warm all day. I'm a letter carrier and work outside for 7 hrs. Recently, we had 3 days of -40 with wind chill. I stayed warm.

For those really cold days when I need all the help I can get to avoid cold, miserable feet.

I live on a small Farm. I am outside a lot. The winters here are cold and damp. I also sit outside with a fire in the fire pit at night. I have poor circulation in my hands and my feet. These socks are the only socks that keep my feet warm and dry. Thank you!

Great socks!

These are teriffic, I use them for hiking on cold winter mornings. I like the fact that the have some mild compression. I do wish that Smartwool still made compression socks.

Hunt socks

My husband loves these socks. He wears them year round due to a circulation problem in his legs and feet. They keep him toasty warm. Please don't change or eliminate this Smartwool sock. They are priceless to my husband.

Smartwool brand is the sock I use for skiing and playing hockey. They feel great, stay dry even though my hockey gear gets completely soaked - the socks are dry. I have several for skiing and hockey and I've bought others for everyday life. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for - they are worth every cent.

I love these socks. I wear them for work and they keep my feet warm and dry. They actually do what they say they do.

These feel great on your feet and extremely warm. The only issue I have is they run a little large. I wear a size 9 in mens shoes and the size chart said I would need a large but I think the medium would've fit better.

I need good thick sock for the boots I wear. I particularly like over the calf and I don't like loose socks. These are the socks I was looking for.

These socks are the best (Smartwool Hunting Classic Maximum Cushion Over The Calf) - I love them! I wear them in the winter with my boots for outdoor activities, walking the dog, hiking, etc. I'm retired now, but used to wear them for many years in my work and travels as an exploration geologist. They're extremely well made and comfortable (maximum cushion), keep you warm and dry, and last and wear extremely well! Thank you Smartwool for making such a top-quality product!!!!

Fits nicely under my muck boots

Was looking for an OTC sock and was very happy to come across these. I like the higher amount % of merino wool in these socks compared to a well known hunting apparel sock.

These socks are the real deal. They are larger than I expected but it was a pleasant surprise. I use them with waders while fly fishing and they keep my feet toasty warm.
