I love the fit, there are no folds or wrinkles once I'm in my ski boots. I have smaller feet, and the normal wide size ranges of other brands ALWAYS lead to socks that are too long from toe to heel. I'm super sensitive to feeling seams or irregularities in the sock and it drives me bonkers. These socks have none of that, and they stay up for a full ski day without needing adjustment. If I have to be nitpicky, slightly thicker in the cushion zones would be nice for colder days.

Never been skiing so I asked around and these were recommended. Great fit and so far durable. I was a little hesitant on spending money on socks because I go through socks every few months, but so far I have no thin spots. Totally worth it!

I use these socks primarily for snowshoeing and other snow. Activities. I wouldn't even consider another sock. Love all my SmartWool gear.

Great product with an incredible feeling against the skin.

I usually purchase and wear Alpaca socks year-round, all types, mostly 1/4 ankle socks. However, these are great SKI socks and thinner than the Alpaca ski socks I recently purchased and tried and just as warm and comfortable, in face I prefer these ski socks over my Alpaca ski socks.

Warm and comfortable

As a ski patrol at Grand Targhee with size 15 feet my son in law loves these socks. They fit. They are comfortable and he can't help but be a cheerleader for your socks

Perfect wait for ski boots and work boots. Not too thick where your toes can get crimped. I really like these socks.

I use these when I ski patrol so they are on my feet for 10-12 hours per day. There is just enough compression for support without discomfort.

Great socks for patrol. Can wear them several days in a row. Cushion in all the the right places. Own several pairs now.

I bought these to ski in CO. My toes usually get cold, but this time my feet were warm. The socks fit extremely well, are comfortable, stay in position throughout a full day of skiing, and are warm.

These are my go-to ski socks. They are thin which I prefer to allow my foot sweat to be absorbed into boot liner and not hang around for my feet to get cold and they have a little bit of padding on the shin, ball of foot, and around heel where pressure is common when skiing. I am a ski instructor and I recommend these socks and the other style with no padding to all my students who are learning how to ski because usually they do not know what to where. Even this season I purchased two new pair along with other winter thermal clothing from Smartwool for myself and family. It's a necessity to be warm and comfortable when out in the elements. There are many, many, many manufacturers out there and I've tried quite a few. The Smartwool quality is consistent. I without hesitation recommend them unless you like cold feet.

My nephew joined the ski club, so I am now the aunt who gives socks every year. Because of the delightful durability, I mostly have to get him new pairs because he keeps outgrowing them. Also appreciated: the ability of wool to defeat The Funk.

The Ski socks stand out because they pack a high percentage of merino wool, which is considerably more than competing ski socks that often below 30 - 40%. These are my go to socks for skiing in all kinds of weather. These socks are thinner that some of my older SmartWool ski socks, but I recently replaced the liners in my ski boots and now need less sock between me and the boot. They are very comfortable and quite absorbent, which is a big benefit for those of us with sweaty feet.

Super soft and cozy. If you like a little more padding, these are winners. I usually wear minimalist ski socks, and decided to try just a tiny bit of cushioning. Honestly, I probably still prefer the zero cushion for hard skiing, but these are good for very cold days or for hikes & other activities where a little more padding is welcome.

I live in Maine. I hate cold feet! I purchased these socks and I am so happy I did!! They are very warm and not really thick like other socks I have. I wear them with snow boots, snow sneakers and everyday winter shoes.

Another perfect pair of socks for skiing!

I bought these for my mom. She absolutely loves the ski socks and the fact they go up over the calves. This is her winter go to sock no matter where she is, if inside or out at a bonfire or walking around her feet stay toasty. She likes the black and blue and the fact it doesnt peek out of the pants leg so it looks like just black socks that are super warm.

All Smartwool merino wool products are the gold standard for skiing or just keeping warm in cold climates. These socks have just a little cushioning so they are still thin, which is critical in ski boots. Also the base layers are the only ones I use. Great company, great products.
