This is my go-to sock for downhill skiing. I just bought my second pair. The extra padding in the foot keeps me comfortable through several hours of hard skiing. The extra padding on the shins is a nice feature I've really come to appreciate as i used to get sore shins with socks that didnt have this.

Smartwool SKI FULL CUSHION OVER THE CALF SOCKS were purchased for use on my weekend ski trip and I was happy with my purchase.I used them to ski in one degree weather while snowing and I was kept warm and dry and had total comfort on foot. I found these socks to was well on the delicate cycle and hanging to dry.

Padding where I want it in ski boots

The best ski socks I have been able to find. They provide all day comfort and warmth for those that want to hit the slopes from sunrise to sunset.

Comfortable, warm and would buy again

I wear these socks with my tall work boots in cold weather. They keep my feet warm and cover my calves so boots don't rub on them. Sweepstakes

This will be used both indoor during cold times and outdoor during the same . Choice of over the calf socks both in stock and still in the line seems to be low in inventory and choice shrinking !

These are the first ski socks that fit perfectly and don't bunch up in the boots. Only ski socks I've ever owned where I don't need boot heaters to keep my feet warm. Super comfortable and perfect over the calf fit. I now own 3 pair. Can't wait to get more.

Used for skiing in regular -20 temps. Warm and cushy. Feels a bit small at first, but good for some stretch. Will need to see how this holds up long term.
