Very comfortable, and they even look good enough for a professional outfit.

I farm and wear these daily. They are described as "light cushion" and feel soft and comfortable all day. Not bulky and never catch an odor even in my waterproof boots. I wear a 12 or 12.5 boot and the XL fits perfect. Love them:)

I've tried many brands of wool socks, and these are some of my favorite. They are incredibly soft and provide excellent warmth without causing any discomfort. I've worn them during cold hikes and long workdays, and my feet have remained cozy and dry. The elastic around the top is just rightnot too tight, not too loose. After multiple washes, they still look and feel brand new. These socks are a fantastic investment for anyone needing reliable and comfortable wool socks. Highly recommended!

I love argyle socks and these keep my feet so comfy - warm when it's cool and cool when it's warm, with enough squish to feel luxurious with out making my shoes feel tight.

I wear them in the winter to keep my feet warm. They fit well and have cushioning in the toes so my feet don't hurt when I walk. I like the design.

I love argyle socks, so when I saw Smartwool had these black argyles, I had to buy them and the blue argyles too. (Hey, I'm Scottish! Like the pattern. Not as tight as my other Smartwool socks around my calf.

Quality is amazing. Expected a bit lighter cushioning so they'd fit better in dress boots. Knew I wanted more cushioning than the no cushion ones. Otherwise amazing socks. Not itchy at all.
