All of my hiking boots are size 7 (which includes a pair of Timberlands purchased in 2011), but these were a tight fit with hiking socks on. It will definitely take some time to break them in. My feet gets HOT during hikes, and these weren't as breathable as I'd like them to be. They work fine if you're going on a stroll on a short trail, but I haven't felt confident enough to wear them on longer, more rigorous hikes because after having them on for longer periods, my toes get numb. I also wore them with regular, thin ankle socks which alleviated the numbness and gave my feet more room, but it didn't seem practical since I don't normally go on long hikes with regular socks on...
Maybe I would feel differently if I ordered a half size up, but I'll just have to keep working with the pair I have and see if it gets better.

Overall, I'm very impressed with this hiker. Timberland has done a beautiful job balancing aesthetic design with top of the line function.
Starting with the look of the shoe, it's really nice. I love the thoughtful design details, like the contrasting coral shoelaces with the blue accents. This is a shoe that I would wear not just on hikes, but also with my day to day colder weather outfits.
The fit is great. True to size, as I usually wear a size 8 in Women's shoes and this was well-fitting without feeling like it was pinching in any areas. It also felt like it gave me a little bit of room for my feet to swell/grow throughout a hike, but not loose in any places at the start. Great balance.
I have an issue with rolling my ankles, and when wearing these my ankle felt very stable and supported, which was fantastic.
I also have a deep appreciation for how the back of the shaft of the boot "curves down," so your Achilles heel isn't bumping into it as you move around. I've had some issues with that with other hiking boots in the past, and this design detail gives so much more comfort without compromising on support.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hiking shoe that can also double with your day to day outfits. It works great for both purposes!

These boots are great! My area got about 6” of snow recently and these never once leaked even though I was using them to shovel snow out from behind my tires. I get tons of compliments about how cute they are and they do a good job at keeping my feet warm. It did take a little while to break them in, but they've loosened up nicely. I don't feel like there's a lot of cushion under my foot though and I did add an insert for under my heels. I also like that they don't have much in the way of arch support because I don't have much of an arch anyway and most arch support hurts my feet.

Have had many compliments on these shoes. Mostly men that love the looks of the shoes, I also like the rugged style of these shoes and the hiking style!!

Bought these for a trip to the Smoky Mountains on Tennessee. Were perfect for hiking off-the-beaten-path mountain trails with lots of random creeks. Kept my feet warm, dry, and comfortable and still looked good afterward!

I've been a fan of timberlands since my first purchase. But I've been always hoping that their shoes will become a little lighter.
This gnu, hiking shoes are very comfy, cute, and seems to be everlasting.
But the only problem is for me is that they're very very heavy. And if you're going to hiking in muddy conditions, it'll be impossible to move your feet.
Otherwise, this shoes, a pretty awesome. Warm, waterproof, good support. But heavy

These are really cool looking but just didn't fit my feet right, my toes grazed the front and they felt kind of big overall so I didn't even try them in the next size up. Maybe just a bit too clunky for me.

Very cute. Rugged with style..Just very stiff with no realistic expectation of braking in...I do not wear this type of shoe/boot enough. My outer ankle bone sat on the heel support and it hurt...bummer...sent them back

The overall design was great; I really liked the "cheerful" colors. The hiker overall was very heavy and while the fit was OK, I didn't feel that the shoes "hugged" my feet enough.
I'd also recommend:

Very stiff, like those cement overshoes I've heard tell of. Disappointing, because they are really cute.

It is hard to imagine hiking in these boots - very little support and the lacing system doesn't allow any adjustments. While the price is right I will be returning them.

Bought these for going out in cold weather with some snow, and ended up having to walk through a foot of snow unexpectedly and these never leaked once and my toes were comfortably warm the whole time! I bought a half size up so I could put in a thick insole insert and still be able to wear thick socks and haven't had any problems. I expect these to last me a good long while.

I usually wearing a 7 or sometimes a 7.5, but I got a 7 in this style. It fit great! I work a job where I am on my feet all day that needed boots but not steel toed. I even got a few compliments on this style. #sweepstakes

I bought these boots to use on a short trip to Colorado. I didn't have time to break them in before I left, but that didn't seem to be a problem. They were super comfortable right off the bat. I sometimes get nervous ordering boots because they can sometimes run pretty narrow. These were just right ordering in my usual size. They don't slide around with thin socks and yet there's still enough room for thick socks if needed.
I haven't tested these with a tough hike yet as some of the members in my group don't hike often, but they were perfect for casual hikes/average trails. I look forward to trying them out on harder trails.
The rubber toe kept everything dry and the material of the boot also dries very quickly - these are definitely worth it if you're just getting into hiking or just need a nice pair of boots to wear in snow/wet weather!

These boots look amazing, very hip and fit well. Comfortable room in the toe area and a great fit. I will definitely be able to wear them all day at work and still feel stylish. I have a medium to slightly wide foot and always wear 7.5 in shoes and boots. I ordered my normal size and right out of the box they were comfortable and look nice with casual work clothes. The quality and style is excellent, I love the rubber toe cap since winter is always so hard on the toe area of shoes and boots. I will revisit my review after I wear them out in wet weather to test the water resistance. They appear to be excellent construction and when it snows I can go from outdoors to indoors without wearing heavy boots. I highly recommend.

I haven't actually traveled with these yet, but they are much more lightweight than my other hiking boots so definitely easier to travel with. Took these out for a spin on a basic hike but it had recently rained. These were great for traction and easy to break in. They're also much cuter than a lot of hiking boots!

These boots are so cute and extremely well made. You can tell the materials were very sturdy and the boot is waterproof which makes it great for all kind of weather and terrain. One of my favorite hiking boots I have tried thus far!

This boot is so so comfortable. Very sturdy and durable, but without tightness or ankle rubbing, essential for comfort and longevity. Perfect for all-weather outdoor hiking excursions.

I typically wear a size 8 and got an 8, I should've at least gotten a 8.5 or 9. I wore regular socks and my toes were pinched. It was quite annoying but I eventually became accustomed to it, it wasn't painful. They are extremely warm, well cushioned, and comfortable. They are indeed waterproof as I walked in puddles but not snow yet. The colors are great, I wasn't sold on the colors online but liked them much better in person somehow.

I am loving these boots so much! They are extremely comfortable, there is no rubbing on the back of my ankle like others do. It's padded and sturdy, the quality is wonderful. I also really love the colors, the contrasting laces with the suede and green sides looks so nice. Then the rubber toe and sole not only looks stylish and cute but it keeps them extra waterproof in all the right spots. I am so happy to have these for fall and winter, I'll be wearing them all the time!
