The denim is no the same weight a previous pairs of these jeans. They have definitely been affected by the shrinkflation trend. The front pockets are smaller regarding depth.

Not the same as a few years ago, smaller front pockets and smaller waist . Thinner material means they won't last as long!

Jeans fit and quality are great, the only issues I have are with the pockets. 5th pocket about 1 inch too long you can not get your finger all the way into it. Front side pockets are 2 to 3 inches too short I can not fit keys, front pocket wallet and pen. Wallet is left in an uncomfortable position. Side lower pocket is 1/2 inch too narrow.

Why would you discontinue the Relaxed fit 5 pocket jeans and substitute it for this carpenter jean, As you know it has a loop for a hammer and shorter pockets, Ridiculous on some ones part to think this is a substitute the the relaxed fit 5 pocket. Please bring them back. You are making skateboarding jeans which has to be a small part of the market.

Been buying these carpenter pants for years. The ones I just got I didn't have a prayer to climb into. Forget the waist, I couldn't get them past my thighs! The other four pairs I own glide on no problem.
I think the third world country making these should re-train the workers in measurements. No way these were 34x34. Shame. Otherwise, the quality is still good.

1 pair of these too tight in waist next fall off after a half day of work. Leg pockets too small for cell phone, barely got a can of snuff in them.

Was a bit bummed. I ordered my son two pairs, in different colors, and the colors are nearly identical. There is really no difference, which defeated the purpose of buying two pairs.

Yep first pair i put on the button came apart, looks like the pressed on pin didn't line up properly and was bent. Hope this isn't an indication of the quality that is now resorted to. I have worn these Jeans for years and have always been pleased in the past.

Much smaller than advertised size, compared to most brands, especially since called relaxed fit
Requires next size up from normal size otherwise great jeans

The quality of product is there but while trying to find the correct size there were several pairs of pants within more than one order shipment that were mislabeled the incorrect size on all the tags and one pair was labeled the incorrect size and color also. Sounds like the labeling or sorting department needs a revisit. Just plan on taking a little longer than expected when ordering from online.

One pair fit right , the other pair is way too small around the waist. Didn't try on before taking off the tags

A Great looking and fitting jean. A carpenter for 40 years I've always worn Dickies.
The word "Heavyweight"should not be in the description of these jeans.

These jeans don't have the same feel of my previous order. They don't feel as heavy and durable. We'll see how they wear since I've already bought them, but I much prefer my previous order over these and would appreciate having those again.

I have worn Dickies jeans for years. I especially like the fact that Dickies jeans have seven belt loops where most other brands have only five. There have been a significant number of reviews addressing the shallow pocket problem and yet it has not been addressed. Currently I have two brand new pairs of jeans I ordered at my alteration shop having deeper pockets put in.

He ordered 2 exactly the same but one was smaller waist wise. These jeans also would be a much better fit if y'all had 29" inseam but y'all cater to average height and taller. No proper fit for shorter guys.

Very good quality the price was spot on. If he had a better fit the comfort would be there. Unfortunately he needs a 29" inseam y'all don't make work jeans for shorter guys 30" is the size shorter guys are stuck with. Its unfortunate that he will need to find a brand that caters to guys who are a little shorter then the average guy.

Higher price, cheaper denim. These ARE NOT heavyweight denim. I remember how thick these carpenter jeans used to be, and I'm disappointed at the fact that Dickies has decided to place profits over quality.

Heavyweight Carpenter Jeans are not as thick as they used to be. Denim way too lightweight.

My only complaint would be the cargo pockets are too low in the thigh area..could save some material if you narrowed the rear pockets..their so wide my billfold turns sideways

I love Dickies work jeans, but most people prefer boot cut so they fit over our work boots. These were straight leg, and won't go over my work boots.

They are not the same quality as previously purchased. Side pocket was narrowed and belt loops torn from 2 sets of pants only 2 months after purchase

They aren't just like the previous pairs I purchased and the pockets are shallow with hardly no Delors at all and the color of the jeans are a dirty color and I'm just not happy at all

Been wearing these jeans for years wear well and my iPhone fits in the ruler pocket. The two pairs I just bought the phone no longer fit in the ruler pocket. Not even sure a ruler would fit. Will not buy on line again, and if this is the new norm we will have to part ways.
