I am absolutely in LOVE with these burgundy suede loafers! Fit is perfect, comfortable right out of the box, cushioned footbed, and super stylish! Highly recommend!

A contemporary take on a classic shoe. Wear with thin to medium sock for an appropriate fit.

These would've been great but I went up a half size and they're too big. The other issue I have is the color is bland, too solid somehow; it's not right. I wish they had a tan color instead.

I so wanted to love this shoe. The sole is super cushy and comfortable to walk in and the shoe has a really nice look to it. Unfortunately, for the price, it was a little loose in the heel, and too narrow across the ball of my foot where it is the widest. The toe width may have stretched out over time, but the heel slippage was a deal breaker. It was worse on my left foot, which I think is slightly smaller than my right. I purchased my usual size, but felt that a half size down would probably be even tighter across.

Loved the style, quality construction and lug soles. But sadly to return them, because the toe box was too narrow, there is no way for the leather to stretch even a small amount in that area.

The left shoe was too small and the right shoe a little too big.

I bought an 8 so that I could wear these with socks. Unfortunately, they slipped in the heel. Without socks, the heel slip was a deal breaker. The shoe was well made, comfortable and everything I wanted. I am going to return it and try for the 7.5 to see if that can work for me.

I wanted to love and keep these, but my foot slipped out, and I can't size down. The side of the shoe also rubbed my ankle bone. I love how they look though. My foot isn't a good match.

Nice loafer with good toe box but the heal was so narrow and pinched terribly.

They were super comfortable and true to size when I slipped them on, but when I stood and walked they were very loud. They’d probably suit folks better who plan to wear them with socks all the time. The pillowy leather footbed squeaked with every step.

These were immediately comfortable and I would have kept them if the heels stayed on my feet! THey were really really too big for me, even if I had put on some chunky socks. I'm planning to reorder 1-2 sizes smaller. Great quality and I liked the color too.

I have a lot of Born shoes, so was surprised at how narrow these were. Besides the narrowness, they seemed like they'd be very comfortable, but I had to return them.

This is for the reddish brown suede version: I usually love Born because they are immediately comfortable, but I experienced a lot of rubbing/soreness on my heel with this shoe. From reading other reviews I suspect this might happen just on the suede version, which is probably stiffer than the leather. I am returning because I didn't want to cross my fingers and hope the suede softened up enough to stop rubbing and hurting. The foot bed is really comfortable though - padded nicely. They overall fit felt a bit tighter than regular, and felt like they might not loosen up as much as a normal leather. The look was great - I wish they hadn't rubbed!

Half size too big. The inside is comfy though.

These are beautiful shoes...not too dressy but not boots. But they were just too big, even with socks. Returning but may try reordering in half size down.

Born brand seems to run a half size too big for me, i was walking out of them so I sized down to 7.5. Hopefully the 7.5s will stretch a tiny bit! These shoes are super cute and the lug sole is sturdy. Inside cushioning provides a lot of support. Took away a star because they are expensive.

I love Born and own at least 10 pair. I always wear 8.5 but when I received them they were way too short and tight but the 9 was way too big and I know they typically stretch out a little so unfortunately I had to send both back. They are beautiful shoes so I was very disappointed.

Too small

Loved these shoes when I received them! The insole is extremely comfortable, and they are perfect work shoes with a little punk flair due to the large soles. However, after wearing twice the stitching around the tongue started to unravel. This was extremely disappointing due to the cost of the shoes and previous difficulties returning products with Zappos. The company warranty does not apply to shoes purchased from zappos, so there was no recourse. Buy at your own risk.

They slipped off in the heel. Returned.

Even though I wear a 6W I have always been able to wear medium Borns. Not with these, I couldn’t even get my foot into the shoe. My fault, but I really thought that since they are so cute I’d take a chance. Back they went.

I really liked the shoe look but overall they were too tight in the toebox and heel, pretty much all over too tight. Wish they came in wide.
