Went on a snow skiing and hiking trip with these boots. I was surprised at first with the amount of traction on the snow even in icy conditions. It is indeed waterproof and most of the times my feet were in or under snow level and my feet keep dry at all times. Other than two thick socks, my feet never felt cold so the insulation must be there too. Compared to some other waterproof snow boots I have this is by far the easiest to put on and remove. There is a strecthy material to the ankle and tongue area where you can strech easily to get you feet in or out. Besides it is also a great looking boot. True to size so if you plan on wearing with a couple of winter thick socks I would recommend going up at least 0.5 size.

Great boot. Light weigh and comfortable. I normally wear a 9 but in cole haan I wear an 8.5. Same with this boot. Sale makes it a bargain.
