The Men's Apex gloves are very warm and windproof. They fit a little small but are worth the price.

4 stars because it looks good and fits well. It's insulated but hand does get cold if you don't place your hands in your coat pocket. Overall very nice gloves.

Warm but not extremely warm but they do keep wind out which is a huge plus. I wish they made their gloves out of the same material the winter puff jackets are made of! Now those would be the warmest gloves ever! But unless your in Antarctica these gloves are pretty nice!

The e-tip functionality works very well. The glove fit is a bit off and they're not extremely work given the bulk.

Well built and lightweight. Seems to run a little small. I have large hands and I purchased the XXL.

I had a pair of Apex gloves from about 2015 and they were a size XL which fit fine. The XL now is far too small. The finger lengths are shorter, and Palm is not as long. Guess I need to return and size up to xxl this time.

These gloves feel very warm, perfect for NY winter. Only downside is that they are a bit hard to put on even though I have the correct size.

First of all, they're too large for the size and the fingerprint doesn't work on my Google pixel 8 but it's strange that it works on my Google pixel 6 just fine. There's another issue with these gloves which is they do not keep your hands warm at all

I gave these gloves three stars. One star off because of the fitting. There are no instructions or diagrams on how to measure what is a large, extra-large, etc. I even called customer service, but he was of no help. So I assumed, based on past experience fitting gloves, I couldn't possibly be an XL, so I ordered a large. The large, as other reviewers noted, is tight to get over your hand at the widest area until you get past the wrist. However, if I had ordered the XL, the fingers would have been too long. The second star was dropped because these gloves didn't keep my fingers warm during walks when the temps. were below freezing, even though I was careful to order gloves rated as "warmer" as opposed to "warm." In summary, these are a decent pair of gloves, but probably overpriced given the issues noted above.

Finger tips get cold under 35 degrees. Decent gloves but probably not worth the price.

TLDR: If it's below freezing, only 4 fingers will be warm and your thumb will be chilly. I wanted to use these gloves when it gets below freezing here in Minnesota. Overall they're clearly high quality and stitched well, and the soft nose wipe on the thumb was what sold me on them. Typically this feature is only included on gloves that are meant for weather cold enough to need it. However, that ended up being the glove's fatal flaw. There doesn't appear to be insulation under the nose wipe, which is on top of your thumb. I have these in both grey and blue, and they both have the issue. I will say, I love these colors and they pair well with a lot of different jacket colors without being the boring old regular black. One thing The North Face always does better than their competitors is offering fun colors in all their outdoor gear. I still wear them when it's in the 30s, and they should be fine for people in climates where freezing is about as cold as it gets. But for anyone looking for gloves to use during the heart of winter in the Northern Plains, New England, or Alaska - find a warmer pair.

I would ONLY use this product if I we're going for a walk down the street or to and from my car on a cold morning.

Thumb area immediately got colder due to "back of hand" wind protection only? One would logically think to wrap all digits with the same outside fabric. Thumb usage wearing you down?

Comfortable and lightweight. The thumb lacks insulation and they are not great overall once temps drop below 40. The grip is on a limited area of the gloves and as a result the already slick fabric makes it hard to hold on to anything. I feel like the earlier styles of these gloves were much better crafted and insulated.

I initially bought a large, which is my typical glove size, and I had to return it because the finger sleeves were too small. I then went ahead and bought an extra large and the finger sleeves are still too small. My fingers aren't even that long. I'm not returning them because I need hiking gloves, but the sizing is unfortunate.

Didn't get a chance to try outside. The gloves were too tight to put on and remove. Once on, they were not too tight. Did not keep - returned.
