I really like this product. I used it for my winter vacation so I could ski and it worked perfect. It kept me very warm honestly.

So comfortable, can't wait to wear them Outside. I always size up a half size with boots because of wearing thick socks. They fit perfectly.

I have used this skiing in 20F+ weather (I already had a thicker balaclava for colder temps). I purchased this for days where it is too cold to not cover my face, but above 20F. The material is soft and comfortable and for the temperature range I chose to use it for, was plenty warm enough. I like the hinged design, although I wish, as others have noted, that it was reversed in order - neckwarmer outside of the hat - rather than hat over the neckwarmer, as this would make it easier to manipulate. That would be my only drawback though. Otherwise, the balaclava is warm and works great.

Comfortable, the fleece is a bit strange because it's dotted, so it's unexpected but it does job. The ear coverage isn't perfect, but I still recommended.

The Futurefleece is warmer and more breathable than Merino wool. I do wish that the hinge was inverted so that the jaw side was on top. This would make it easier to put up and down with a snowboard/ski helmet on. The material on the ears seems a little over-designed. Makes a lot windbreaker-like noise right in your ears.

I absolutely love this product, just wish there were more colorways.

Tighter fit but really warm. Wish the bottom and the top were more connected but it does its job.

This works great during those months of the winter that burns your face with cold. The only set back is that I have a lot of hair so the top part could barely hold my hair.

I use this to bike to work in the morning in Utah. I love the ability to easily remove the face covering but also the warmth that provides.

My head measures 22inches so I ordered a S/M. While the head part fits perfectly, the part you pull up over your face it too tight. I also bought their Fastech balaclava a little over 2 months ago and had the same issue with that one. This one isn't as tight in the face as the Fastech but it's still quite uncomfortable. The Fastech one is unwearable because of how tight it is. This one digs into the bridge of your nose and after wearing it for a short period of time it starts to give me a headache, and no, I don't have a big nose. If I pull it down under my nose it feels much better but then it kind of defeats the purpose of buying a balaclava. It's also a pain to get the face and neck part over your head because the material doesn't have much stretch to it. The head part has more stretch because of the windwall panels for the ears. The ''future fleece'' on the inside feels really nice and keeps you nice and warm. I have their Tekware 1/4 zip hoodie that's made with their future fleece and I absolutely love that hoodie. I wish that they would make pants with future fleece on the inside, I would buy those in a second! As for this balaclava, I am disappointed in the fit. Sizing up won't fix the problem because then the head will be too loose. I had emailed their customer service about this balaclava and they never replied so I'm also not too happy about that. Their customer service is usually very good. I would still recommend this because I do really like it, I just don't like the fit. For other people it might fit better.

Size up. The S/M is more for big kids. I've used it for skiing, and though it's initially a tightbut OK fitmy ears get exposed progressively over time since there is not enough fabric to cover them. The only upside to this is that it has a ponytail hole in the back, which is great to prevent my hair from sticking to my neck while skiing. Perhaps sizing up would have been better, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend purchasing at full price since there are better options at a lower price point.
