Very stylish and quite comfortable, but these run rather large when compared to other brands. For example, I wear a 9.5 in Nike and my 8.5 Steve Maddens are a little too big still.

My husband loves them. Intended more for his casual Friday look. He has to use arch support inserts anyway, so can't really offer much opinion on that part.

Love the style of this shoe. Works with jeans or casual dress. A comfortable shoe, but the label on the inside of the shoe does definitely end up hurting my heel. No real obvious, but after wearing all day, ends up giving me a sore heel. Poor design in that aspect. Other than that, I am pleased with this shoe, but will not buy another "Steve Madden" shoe.

Good shoe for the price. Stylish and comfortable. Probably wouldn't want to walk ten miles in them - they're not Born.
I'd also recommend:
Born, Clarks

I wear a 10.5 and ordered the same. Shoe feels good. Just a little snug on the sides but not uncomfortable. If it came in a wide size, that would be perfect! Love the look! I'll probably wear them jeans casual with a blazer. I think this was a good pick!
I'd also recommend:
Rockport, Johnston & Murphy

Goodness gracious! These are very attractive shoes along the "I'm stylish without trying to hard" vein, but I've had to order them three times now to get the right size for my son. He wears a 8.5 but we are now on the 7.5. Thank goodness for Zappos easy return policy, fast shipping, and that I didn't need them any time soon.

Nice looking and feeling shoe. I don't like the feel of the stitched label on the footbed, but otherwise great. Runs at least 1/2 size larger than normal.

I wear a size 14 in Johnston & Murphy. So far I've tried 14 and 15 and this shoe size is to small. I'm going to try 16. I have another pair of Steve Madden in 14 and they fit. Just be aware. Show looks amazing though.

The size, width and style were fine, lack of arch support prompts the return.

Beautiful shoes. Very disappointed to have to return. They seem to run a size large and they don't make a size 6. If I had kept them I was going to change the laces. They're very light in color and don't look right with the shoe.

I wish Zappos would let us leave a no-star, commentary-only review. I'm really divided about these. And I really hate to leave low-star reviews on any company willing to make a truly extended range of sizes. But, here we are.
I really WANT to LIKE these. So much that I kept them, when I really should have sent them back. As they say, and I keep learning the hard way, "for clothing, if you don't LOVE IT, don't buy it." I suspect they're going to be a costly mistake sitting on my shoe shelf mocking me for a few years until I toss them. But they might work for normal-sized feet, and the style and look and (seeming, on first impression) quality is enough that they might even be pretty good bargains, if you find a pair that actually fit.
As a size 17, I don't have a lot of options, so the fact that they exist makes me very happy, and merits 5-star praise and buying every color available. If you're anything north of a 13, you know what I mean! But, if you're cursed with giant feet, tl;dr: If you're a 17 and think Keens are about perfect for you, DEFINITELY skip these. More details below.
They look nice, and at a good price. But...
This shoe has some substantial downsides.
The style is great. The build quality ~seems~ good so far. They could be a great value, and I'd buy one of each color. Hence the "overall" being three stars, and the "style" being 5.
Now, the negatives:
They are way, way, WAY lighter than the pics make them seem. I know, I know: "Monitors don't display color reliably." I've done enough print production to grok that. But I'm talking entirely different color. Instead of "worn tan baseball glove tan", think "very light, almost off-white -- buff or cream, really." If I had my pantone or paint colorwheels handy, or cared enough to dig one out, I'd give a specific comparison. I was hoping these would work with a variety of pants and jeans, but really no. If you're looking for _light_ tan, go for it, but they're closer to white than they are brown, if that makes sense?
But, setting all that aside, the sizing on these is *terrible*. I have narrow feet -- even "narrow" boots are usually too wide; e.g. my Red Wings 17Bs need two pairs of socks or the eyelets overlap and my foot is lost in the boot -- but these are so cramped in width that they're almost unbearable. And yet... they are way, WAY too long. Like, a full size longer than my big toe. The last thing I need is to make my feet look BIGGER! : ) Combined with the too-light color, it's just this side of _literal_ clownshoes. I know, I know: This is where I feel very grateful that I am male and will never have to cram my feet in fancy high-heels... I expect that these are quite a bit what that is like: Guys, take a moment to thank a woman you know for her sacrifices for fashion! I wore them for an hour or two because I had no other choice, and have never been happier to take off a pair of shoes -- including sopping wet, frozen on the outside, snowboots after a long day in the snow.
Worst fit on a pair of shoes labelled my size, I think, I've ever had. And if you have to find shoes beyond about size 13, you know that size labels are a wild guess at best in your range already. I'd send them back, if I hadn't worn them outside. Instead, I'm buying a shoe-stretcher and some leather treatment products and hoping to make them wearable. We'll see.
I'm also buying some tan and brown shoe polishes to see if I can darken them up. They're _that_ light.
To top it off, they offer _zero_ insole support. None. Putting in a standalone insole would help... but there's not enough room in the width and toe box. So, smashed foot, no support... good times.
You normal-sized-feet people, though, may find a pair that is delightful, and of that, I am jealous!
All that said... it really is a mixed-bag revei... size 17 options are so rare for anything other than sneakers that I am seriously considering the dark brown pair, if they come back in stock. How sick is that?
I'd also recommend:
Keens. Wish they made dress shoes!

These were smaller than normal for my size, they were particularly tight and narrow feeling right at the ball of my feet. I'm going to try one size larger.

Runs large and wide compared to other comparable oxfords. We bought and returned two pair - half size down and then full size down. Too bad - great style with the black matte finish. My son really liked the style.

The part of the shoe around the ankle was way too rounded and not sharp looking. It had the look of a tennis shoe at that part and the color was different than picture appeared

Loved the look, but way too big. Downsizing resulted in the toe box being too narrow. Didn’t work for me.

Sent me a size 15 when I ordered a 16. Good because the 15 is a 16 in length. Hopefully they stretch out.

I wear a size 15 and own Steve Maddens that fit true to size. This pair will not be one of them... felt one size smaller.

the shoes run small. I am a true 15.5 and ordered a size 16, the shoes still feel tight. I am considering returning them.

Upon arrival this shoe did not look like the pictures and after a week wearing them definitely regret this purchase. Maybe they will be come my new chore shoes - do not recommend to anyone under the age of 50.

Fine looking shoe. Tan was much lighter in person than in the picture, but not bad. Wearing the shoes was quite uncomfortable -- especially in the heel. Very loose around the heel, but also painful and weirdly steep in the back. Shoe made me feel like my heels did something bad to the shoes, maybe years ago, that made my feet deserve this sort of bad treatment. Not sure what I ever did wrong to these shoes to invite that kind of abuse, but I am returning them. If not for the latter complaints, I would gladly keep these shoes. This is the first time I've returned anything to Zappos.
