I'm a die hard Asics fan and these are hands down the most comfortable cloudlike ASICS I've ever worn. I've never found Hokas or any of the other 'cushiony' sneaks to live up to the hype. But these are truly remarkable. I also have flat feet and bunions, so I'm a pretty tough customer. My only concern is the raincoat type material instead of mesh that sometimes doesn't wear so well, but I've been wearing them nonstop for a couple weeks and so far so good. Also, the gold color is beautiful.

Great all around shoe that's comfy and has traction when you need it. These shoes are not meant to be your runners but intended for everyday wear and tear.

These are the best everyday shoe they make. They are super comfortable and supportive but also light, springy and responsive. They are ready for action. Perfect retro runner style. I was mad when they started screwing up the onitsuka tigers.. But these feel like the old Colorado 85's with all the benefits of modern technology. Let's just hope they don't discontinue these because I'll be buying more.

This is my third pair of joggerX81s. They are a little more supportive that the wide variety of asics that I've had in the past. I have flat feet and bunions, so that is important. I do add an insole for more heel cushioning. I had the gold/white/black/lime ones in the past and have reordered them, but this pair is my fave colorway so far. I also have the white ones with lavendar/gold which are great for the spring, but I love the other two more.

I bought these as a stabile walking shoe that was comfortable, and darn good looking. ASICS has always made the best shoes, and this one I bought online, and I have not been disappointed. It has everything from the throw-back runners of the late '70s in the sole, with the mid-sole shock power of today, with that old Tiger look. My knees keeping me from running at my age now, but these help keep me as active as possible, and not looking like a white-shoe dad doing it.

Just got these shoes and I love them. They are comfortable and stylish and have great support. I am on my feet a lot for work and these give me the support I want for that. They are well made and the materials all seem nice. They seem really sturdy although I have only had them a few days, seems like they will hold up well. Really happy with these shoes and I hope that this model will still be available by the time I need another pair because I would quickly just buy another pair of these. Highly recommend these shoes.
I have in the past been a regular user of Onitsuka Tiger ultimate 81 which I have bought a few times and those are comfortable but I feel like those don't last very long. These ASICS Sportstyle Jogger x81 seem more substantial and more rugged (but again too soon to say for sure). I have also been a regular use of Saucony Jazz original and these Asics seem more substantial than those but a similar feel. Still out of the three so far I am favoring these ASICS here. Great shoe. Hope they release more colors too.

Comfy but sweaty. They don't have much "breathability." After 20 minutes you'll need to change your socks and wash you feet.
