I bought these when my ASICS GEL-scam 6 wore out, these are very comparable, though the feel a touch bigger in the toe box. I replace the insoles with orthotic style arch supports.

Removable insoles are thick enough so my custom orthotics fit well in the shoes. So I bought a second pair!

These are great fitting and very light weight. Love them! My only criticism is they are labeled black/silver but are actually navy blue/teal. I like these colors so I'm keeping them but now, I still need shoes with black

I have wide feet so I was worried these shoes were going to be too small. They are the perfect fit! I have started walking in them daily and they are light weight and very comfortable.

First time out the shoes were remarkably comfortable, although the laces kept coming undone. Perhaps a sturdier lace would hold better.

These shies are just right for fit, width & support. Asics have bern my favorite for gym and running to the store for a while. These continue to deliver.

Very nice. They were a little tight through the toes compared to the scram style, so I kept those and returned these. I usually wear a half size larger in ASICS, and these fit as expected.

I have wide feet tand the wide Asics fit perfectly. No more foot pain! Lightweight and grippy soles on soft trails.

My only comment is that you may want to advise people like myself that wear a half size order the next whole size up. I am wearing the 7.5 that I ordered and they fit OK, but one foot is slightly longer than the other (the dominant side) and it's a tiny bit short. It's not terribly short but if I ran longer distances it would probably lead to a bloody toenail. It is OK for me 'cause I don't run or hike for much more that 3 or 4 miles. I love the shoes though. The traction soles are amazing!!!! That's especially appreciated in Oregon where it is wet and slimy most of the time.

I read about these shoes on the excellent help with problem feet website, barking dogs.com, after looking up metatarsalgia. My poor feet suffer from finding shoes that feel good, don’t end up with a burning sensation after a few steps. These shoes so far seem to offer enough support, without being spongy and offer a comfortable fit. Need to walk with them more, but I am hopeful. I ordered my normal size in a wide to accommodate my wide foot. My podiatrist recommended a stiff soled shoe, this one is stiff enough, yet offers sufficient padding to be comfortable.

Just ordered my third pair of these. They last for about 10 months with heavy use. Everyday workout and backpacking trips, weekend hiking, multiple mile walks a few days a week. They just started wearing out on the inside heel 10 months later. They fit perfectly and last so well and the price is right.
