I wanted to like this. Ordered a half size up from my usual 8.5 in Vionic. No go. The toe box is just too narrow for my foot, even a half size higher. It's also a rigid shoe. Wish it fit, but it doesn't so it's going back. But, there making me call as it was an exchange. Haven't exchanged anything before, so not sure why a phone call is required. Will find out tomorrow.

Good supportive waterproof shoe. Wore these on recent trip to Ireland. We had quite a bit of rain from light drizzle to torrential downpour. My feet were always dry. Not heavily insulated which makes them perfect fall shoes. Wore on city exploration and light hikes in the country. Loved ability to adjust the laces for comfort as well as quickly unzip for quick airport security line removal. Never felt they were out of place with nicer pants or jeans. Liked that they aren’t bulky like many hiking boots. Definitely recommend and will continue to wear at home and traveling.

Overall, I really like these booties. They are kind of like a leather mid top tennis shoe. At first, I thought they may not be supportive enough as they are not exactly cushy. However, after wearing them for a few hours they seem to form to your foot and they are really comfortable. They are excellent quality. NOTE: These shoes, due to the leather, were REALLY squeaky when I first wore them. However, it DOES back down after several hours to a few days of wearing and I hardly hear the leather at all anymore. So, do not give up on them just because they squeak at first! These are a great alternative to just a tennis shoe; a bit more style, can be played dressy or casual. I think they are a"tad" long, but I would not size down from one's normal size.

Tighter than my usual 8.5 Vionics due to a narrower toe box, so I upsized to 9M. Would have ordered a wide but not available in this style. Sadly, the 9 didn't work for my left foot which needs a smidge more width in this style even at a 9. It's also a stiff shoe.

I love these shoes! After having a terrible experience walking 10 miles in NYC last year I needed a shoe to perform for this year's trip. And it did! OMG! These shoes are the best shoes to walk in, has support, comfort and style and it let's your foot breath. Love love love!

These shoes are downright ugly. They look like old lady shoes (not for this lady). Besides the look, they did not fit well and had some sort of stitching problem where the suede meet sthe leather. It instantly bothered me. Back they go. The price was ridiculous for the product.

Fit great, I sized up a half-size as recommended. These are so cute with jeans! I love all my Vionics!

Love these, easy on and off thanks to the zipper, all day comfort

Vionic has great arch support, a definite PLUS. The style is similar to a pair of Vionic lace-up "tennis" shoe that I've had for years (brown) with the sueded toe and heel areas, with leather in the main areas of the shoe, also lace up. The higher ankle level of the Whitley style will take some adjustment, but the zipper will make for easier off/on, especially if worn through TSA checkpoints in the airport, I do NOT like the narrow toe box on the shoe, especially when wearing socks with seams over the toes. Was wearing the shoes in the house to determine if they were comfortable or if I needed to return them. I developed a blister over the top of my right little toe within 20 minutes of trying these shoes. Decided to loosen the laces first, meh, only somewhat helpful. Decided to put shoe tree stretchers in them for a while and I will definitely be ordering seamless socks to wear with these shoes. For me, it was weird to have an issue with the right foot, as usually, it's my left foot that has problems (due to formerly broken toes). The overall quality of the shoe construction was good, as are all other shoes that I own made by Vionic. The tread has open slots that are likely to pick up dirt and mud; I'll have to make sure to check the treads before walking in the house!

I love the look, feel, and fit of this shoe! Unfortunately, I have to return them. The right shoe squeaks with every step. The squeak seems to come from where the tongue rubs against the inside. I’m going to order another pair if they let me.

Unfortunately the toe box is too narrow which really doesn't work with Morton's neuromas. Also, they are super squeaky. I'll be returning. I really wanted to like these.

The back stitching is bulky creating a bump that will rub the back of your ankle. Cute, but this bump is not for me.
