I normally wear size 7 1/2, or 8 in certain brands or particularly athletic shoes. I first ordered these in 7 1/2, which were a bit too snug so I returned them and ordered size 8. They felt great, except that my left pinkie toe rubbed a bit, so I had to return that pair as well. I have that problem with many brands of shoes, so it's more my problem than the shoes'. However, I currently own a pair of JBU's that are quite comfortable with no rubbing, so I had hoped to find another one like those.

Love Jambu. Easy on and off with zipper. Very comfortable for walking.

Love these shoes - they give my foot a lot of support. I am in between a medium and wide, and these shoes, with their wider toe box, fit just right. this is my second pair of slip-into JBU's and I walk in comfort.

I loved these shoes and if the toe box hadn’t been too pinched at the end of my toes I would have kept them. Alas that wasn’t to be, they were the right size but the toe box pressed down on my big toe and was painful. I knew if I got a larger size they would just be too big so I had to send them back. I have issues with ingrown toenails on my right foot so I couldn’t try to “break them in”. If you have toes that don’t point up these will probably work for you. I have another pair of JBU shoes that I love and they are very similar to these so I was pretty sure these would fit. Nope!

I've worn JBU shoes for almost a decade now. I'm writing my first review because I'm disappointed with the overall quality of this pair. Although the comfort and fit are fine, after only seven months of inconsistent wear (I was wearing boots during cold winter months), the soles of both shoes are separating from the upper (I've attached photos for reference). I was very surprised because there is stitching in the front and back of the shoes that makes it appear the soles are stitched firmly to the uppers. However, that is not the case; the soles are glued, not stitched on. Apparently, the glue that was used is of poor quality. Buyer beware!

I have purchased these same style shoes before, always in a size 7. This particular permutation of the standard JBU shoe, however, is lined with some nice warm fabric. The shoe is not larger to accommodate the heavier liner, so be advised to order half a size up.
