I've looked for a small backpack for a long time to use as a purse. I am 75 years old and tired of carrying around heavy purses on my shoulder. I needed something I could either put on my back or carry by hand. Many of the backpacks intended to be used as a purse taper at the top and and an iPad would not fit in the bag. I purchased this bag and hope to never have to carry a purse except for dress-up occasions again. I love it. It could use another zipper compartment. Sanitar masks and sanitary wipes, make up items, wallet, coupon folder, and my cell phone on a regular basis. This is the perfect sized bag for me. I can carry all my "must haves" but not have to search for anything at the bottom. The Rose Toile print is gorgeous and great shades for cooler weather!

I love the size, all the pockets and fabric. I haven't carried a backpack for many a year and am enjoying how convenient it is.

It's beautiful!! But better than that it has 6 pockets. It seems that so many of the totes/purses I've looked at recently have less pockets. And that's the first thing I look at after the fabric. Thank you!!

Have bought Vera Bradley for years. I originally bought The Betsy. It was perfect for me. Now I buy the small tote. Usually don't buy the wallet but I thought I'd try it. Also have two cross bodies. I'm 3 years away from 80 years old so I'm sure I'm not your target customer. However, I like the fact that your bags are lightweight to begin with. For me, that's a plus.

I love this tote! I had to upgrade my old Vera tote, and chose to try this one with the performance material. It's perfect- same size as the original Vera with all of the pockets! So glad I decided to upgrade!

I'm pretty fussy about totes/bags. But this particular style suits all my wants and needs for "Purse." Superb handle length to pick up and go with one hand. Lots of room to carry a plethora of items, with tons of pocket space all around the inside. Secret compartment at the top seam and a nice front pocket to slip your phone into. Everything a girl could need!

Lightweight with plenty of room! Inside design is pretty and not too dark. I like that it's washable and has two side pockets for water bottles.

Yes, I love my Vera Bradley bags and the VERA TOTE is my favorite. The Happiness Returns pattern has special significance as the original RETURN TO HAPPINESS was the very first pattern I bought way back around 1997 or 1998. I still use those bags today and they're in great condition despite occassional washing. These bags are well made, comfortable to carry, and have convenient features like pockets inside & outside plus zippers to keep items secure.

It's my first bag from Vera Bradley and will definitely shop for gifts! Love the soft quilt look, 6 inside pockets and it's so beautifully made. Thank you Vera Bradley I'm a pleased customer.
