I really like the color but its bigger than I expected!! I just wished I would have ordered the one down size

So much room to carry all my things. Attach to my wallet and makes so much easier to free my hands.

I haven't bought a Vera tote in easily 6 years. It has obviously been redesigned and some of the materials changed. It now has a zipper, instead of a toggle closure, which I wish they would have kept. However, the hidden pocket on the top edge is a nice feature. It still has the 6 pockets lining the interior, but the material is no longer quilted. However, the new material feels substantial (there is some kind of interfacing inbetween the fabric layers). I do wish that they would convert some of those pockets to have some sort of closure (velcro, magnet, zipper) to keep contents secure. There is no heavy cardboard base, instead it feels like a plastic piece that is not removable. It does seem to hold up well after putting my things inside, but time will tell. I got the brand new Cat's Meow pattern (LOVE IT), so I'm not sure if the material is slightly different than other patterns, but I don't experience the collapsing of the bag that some other reviewers do. All in all, it's still a great bag for anything.

Great tote for school but I miss the second outside pocket with the key clip. Other than that it's a good bag.

Came with a lose thread

I thought since it said small it would be smaller than the one I have now. I am disappointed the zipper on the top is down inside the bag. The other ones I have all have zippers across the real top. It is much easier to open with one hand. It was nicely packed and pretty.

I have used this bag for about a week. I was concerned it might look like a child size bag but honestly, it's a great fit. I love the fabric. These zippers are a definite upgrade over the other metal zippers. The water bottle pockets are the perfect size for a standard 16 oz bottle. I do wish there was a separate iPad pocket like the Hadley backpack. The pen pockets are a feature I like but the way these are positioned is awkward. The slip pocket on the back is not deep enough for a cell phone.

For my voluntary job it holds files and papers. Wish there were more zippers inside the main pocket. Otherwise a good product

I haven't used it yet but it will be the perfect size and weight for a getaway.

Great bag has a lot room in it, its just what I need!

This pretty backpack can hold a lot. It's not a full sized backpack, nor is it a mini. It's in between and perfect. I love the variations of pinks it has in it. I can see myself using it a lot especially in the fall when the richer cranberry colors are more prevalent.

I would definitely buy another one when it goes on sale.

I just took the tote on vacation. I love all the compartments. It was a great carry on bag for the long plane ride.

I love all the pockets inside, and the two pockets on the outside (one zip pocket). I also love that the top of the pause zips shut, the great colors and patterns available. However, I miss the piece that fits in the bottom of the purse and makes it flat. When I set it down without that piece it always falls over. I have been buying Vera Bradley bags for over twenty years. I have eleven total and still use all of them even though the corners and shoulder straps have gotten shabby and ripped. I even thought of having leather patches made for the corners and maybe four inches on the top part of the shoulder strap.

I bought this in fireworks paisley. Love the print. I am disappointed though that the bag does not have the cardboard bottom for structure. In a larger bag they should have added it. I also would love To see an inner zip pocket .

I love this for day to day. I am a mom of three and always on the go. Its small enough to sling on my back and not feel weighted down and still have my hands free for the kids. I wish the side pockets were a bit largerb enough to hold a water bottle or a sippy cup but its not. Zipper pocket inside is useful but wish was a but deeper. Other then that I'm really happy with it.

Really cute backpack for everyday use.

I have already transferred the contents of my purse into this backpack as soon as I received it. Everything fit perfectly however this backpack was a bit smaller than I had imagined. The straps are comfortable and considering I work around water the nylon material is perfect and more water resistant than other Vera bags I have. I will definitely be buying one of these for my daughter!

The Vera Bradley Iconic Small Backpack is a great option for hands-free carrying on the go. It's lightweight and small enough that you can really pack it up and still not strain your back, but it's still large enough to hold a lot. It was great to use to carry my wallet, phone, keys, and sunglasses, plus my 1-year-old's diapers, wipes, changing pad, sippy cup, and a few toys when we went to the zoo. The black quilted exterior is a classic look, and the styling is on trend. My favorite part is the floral interior, which is a great pop of color. The amount and sizes of the pockets, both interior and exterior is spot on for keeping the bag organized. My only con is that when you aren't carrying much weight in it, the straps slip a little. I would prefer slightly thinner straps. However, the padding on the straps is great and they don't dig in at all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this bag.
