This bag is lightweight and has many pockets, both inside and out. Very well designed. I found one more "hidden" pocket on the center top edge just today. I hope it does not fall off my shoulder this winter when I start wearing slippery winter coat. My only disappointment is that the fabric is not a type of microfiber that I have seen. It has no sheen.

The last Scottie dog design that Vera Bradley did was iconic this one misses the mark. It could have been so much better with a different Scottie design. Also I would expect VB fabrics to match up at the seems, but my tote doesn't. One of my pet peeves.

I love this adorable bag for the holidays! The appliqued penguins are too cute! It can be used all winter, too. My only disappointment is that there is no outside pocket that the Vera tote usually has. I thought maybe it would be on the back side since the penguins are on the front. I will really miss that feature.

Love my small Vera Tote Bag. The perfect size and the six slip pockets inside are a real win. Only drawback is the material, not Vera Bradley quality. I think quilting would make it more substantial. Love the solid color and would like to see more of those.

I received this tote in the happy Sunflowers pattern as a gift. I have to say I agree with the most popular negative review that the slip pockets are a tad baggy. It also depends upon what you place in them. I appreciate negative comments because not all of us are able to shop in person-either because there is not a VB shop nearby or some of us cannot always get out to shop in person due to health issues. I also own so many VB bags-totes, cross body, hipsters-you name it, I have it!! Yet products do change and sometimes not for the better. There isn't always a way to know until the purchase is received. So to those who give a nice detailed review with pros and cons-thank you. We all have something to contribute in these reviews and choices made are individual. I think the most liked positive review lacked an understanding that a negative review is very helpful in making decisions.

I ordered this thinking it was a medium size purse. It turned out to be a very large tote bag. I'm keeping it but definitely not what I wanted.

Wish it was a little bigger, but overall, a great bag! I can fit a lot of items in it - even a full size laptop. Also, I love the design. It's beautiful!

I first got a custom small backpack over a year ago and loved it. This one had some strings hanging that I had to cut off in a few places. Besides that and issues getting bottles into the side pockets, I love this bag.

Quality is good except for the straps. They used to be all padded, but now the material they use cuts into your arm pits. Wish they would go back to the original st yle with three compartments, one in the back also and the old style straps. Loved the pattern!

I bought this for my granddaughter. She likes the color. It's good for a child. Only complaint is the straps are hard to adjust

I really wanted a Black Vera Bradley purse, so I got this one. It's the perfect size for me and useful when I need to add lots of items for traveling, etc. However the purse is already stretching out and loosing some threads.

Love the fabric and color! Lots of interior pockets. Just wish the bottom was a bit sturdier.

This is the perfect size bag to carry you wristlet, planner, snacks/lunch, and your thermos of water. Note it is NOT large enough for a laptop; however, plenty of room for a tablet. RFID protects your ID and CC. I love that secret pocket for my cell phone!!! Highly recommend it to anyone who works in an office!! 4 1/2 Stars !

my favorite part of this bad bar the interior pockets They are perfect for my umbrella, sunglass case, laptop charging case, makeup bag etc. If I could change one thing it would be for the base of the bag to be just a little bit bigger so it could fit my lunchbox. I carry a fairly slim laptop to small spiral calendars and an iPad for work Fitting the lunchbox would be ideal as I hate having to carry it separately.

I absolutely love the organization in this type of bag. The only thing that would have made it five stars instead of four would be to have four silver feet on the bottom to protect the fabric from when you set it down on the floor. Otherwise it's perfect!

The Vera small Tote is one of my favorite! When I saw the new in twill Olive leaf I had to ordered it. The color is a bit darker then it shows online. But still love it! Probably willl order the lavender one as well.

Although I love it, I wish it were available in a smaller version. I miss the Mandy purses. I would buy several if they came back.. they were the smaller version of the tote bag

this bag is replacing my worn out 8-year old pink Vera Bradley bag. I wish you still made that style (don't remember the name) but it was similar to this Small Vera Tote; slightly larger & the best part was that it had side pockets on each end of the bag. I'm a high school Special Ed Paraeducator & typically "float" around the campus; so I don't have a dedicated space for my school stuff -- that old pink bag was perfect because I could put my 32 oz water bottle in the end side pocket. I don't need a huge bag & this size is a bit smaller that my old one; but it is working -- except for the fact that I have to now carry my water separately-- I know; first world problem! Otherwise, I love all the separate inside pockets -- holds my cell phone, kleenex, chapstick, White-Out, Post-Its, pens, markers; you get the idea -- almost perfect bag -- bring back the side pockets!!

Quality you'd come to expect from a Vera. Nothing earth shattering in this purse, but a pretty, understated pattern (this is reviewing Plaza Tile) and typical useful pockets. I wish the strap could extend to give the option of a crossbody since this purse is smaller.

I like the way it holds so much, unyet its not a big backkpack.

I really like the look and convenience of a tote, but I wish there was one a little smaller. Maybe 10 inch by 10 inch. I don't carry a lote in my purse, just my wallet, car fob and phone, a small writing tablet and pens, so this tote is large. I do love carrying it because it's easy to find what I need.
