I got the small backpack because I am handicapped and have to carry certain things from the bedroom to the living room & vice versa. I was using a bag but saw this backpack & decided that it would suit my needs. It ABSOLUTELY does. Access to my needed supplies is much easier because of all the different places to store them. I can't really afford full-priced Vera Bradley products, but I bought this item on sale. If you wait for sales, prices are what I consider more fair.
