It works fairly well to keep money, license, and a card on key chain. I like the size, but I wish it had another separation or pocket between license and cards and money. It's large enough to find keys in my purse and small enough not to add weight/bulk.

This backpack was a life saver recently when we took a week's vacation to the beach in Maine. As the week went on it became heavier as I continued to stuff it with stuff. One of the best features is the washability and all the storage. The straps are confusing to me, however, and it is hard for me to figure out the evenness of them.

While I like the material, design and many compartments, It is frustrating to adjust the straps and not have them hold.

Too large for what I was looking for returning. As a tote it would be great!

Perfect size, I used it for a travel handbag.

I am pleased with the small Vera tote. I like all the pockets on the inside and out. I especially like the pocket that is for a cell phone.

I use it as a purse and love it.

I just received this bag today and the bag itself I do like all the features, however, the bottom of the bag piece-feels like a piece of plastic-not cardboard-it's folded into half bunching up the bottom of the bag. I tried to flatten it but it doesn't flatten out-I've never had an issue like this with any bags I've purchased so it's a bit disappointing. I'm considering putting some cans of soup or something along the bottom to see if I can get it to flatten out. I like the performance twill fabric a lot-I have other pieces in this fabric and I like it better than the cotton. The bag itself I really like but I'd rather not have to deal with a return and exchange situation so hoping I can get the bottom to correct itself.

Please add luggage sleeves!!

Love your stuff, only wish you would add a luggage sleeve to your totes would make travel seamless!

Was somewhat disappointed in the color of the bag and primarily in the coarse quality of the bag fabric. I have several Vera Bradley bags which are fine. I will continue to buy your product.

Bag is good, paid $10 for monogram. So disappointed in that. The color that was suggested by VB blends in and the stitching is very small.

Great tote...just a little to big..2/3 that size would be great.

Love Vera Bradley products. That is all that I use when it comes to purses. They are light, roomy, have multiple pockets, zipper and well made. Most if the patterns are equally beautiful. Highly recommend.

I'm a first time Vera Bradley customer and I came to the brand looking for a backpack which would be used as a replacement for my purse/work bag. Totes are great but I wanted a change, something with plenty of pockets for organization. I almost found what I was looking for with the Small Backpack but it just missed the mark on size. The Performance Twill is a truly great material - I've since bought two more items in it. There are plenty of pockets and I love the hidden side pocket for my phone, but I think a slip pocket in the back for papers, receipts, tickets, etc would have been a huge plus. I have yet to use this bag but I'm sure I will eventually - it's just too pretty not to. My biggest suggestion to Vera Bradley is this: please make a backpack in a size between the small and the Commuter or Campus. I tried those two on in your store and found them to be way too enormous for my needs - my stuff was drowning in there! I would buy a medium-sized, Performance Twill, silver-zippered backpack in a secondprobably in multiples!

I love a large bag, but this is a LOT bigger than I expected. Yes, I read the measurements online, but I guess they didn't quite translate to my brain.

It's humungous! Do love all the pockets though. The only thing I think all the totes are missing is a key lanyard strap. I do like the little slip pocket up top which is where I am keeping my keys, but I would still like the lanyard option as a 2nd option too.)) Love the material!

This tote is just the size I was looking for! There was I problem with my order getting lost but when I contacted the company they took care of it immediately.
