Very nice bag. Small but efficient to carry on a trip.

I love the many pockets plus the outside pocket, zipper pocket and "hidden" cell phone pocket. Might be a little larger than expected, but that makes it easier to find everything inside!

Very cute bag. Light weight, and comfortable to carry. I have received lots of compliments on it.

I love all the pockets with this tote. I have many Vera bags but this one is most versatile. I don't love the material because little threads come off from the stitching.

Only reason for not 5 stars wish top was more sturdy ad I love to clip my hand sanitizers to it. But Love love love it@

I love this bag but it is bigger than it looked on line. It is too big for me but will save it and give it as a gift.

I love my small totes. I was a little disappointed that the penguin pair did not have a pocket on the front for your phone as my snoopy one from last year. Other than that I love it.

I would like longer straps to wear in the front or in the back! Cute size to carry a small ipad for travel.

It's a little on the small side, but that's my fault for not reading dimensions. It didn't fit everything I carry, and I ended up upgrading to something else

i like that it clips with a metal clip. you couldn't tell from the photos. hope it holds up to airline wear.

I like my bag but was slightly disappointed that it didn't have a slid packet for my luggage handle. I almost lost my iPhone when I noticed it slipped out of the hidden pocket when I put in under the airplane seat. I would make a few modifications. But otherwise it's a nice bag for travel. It has lots of interior pockets and the exterior pockets fit my phone and tablet.

Perfect size, light weight even when filled. Color and design very attractive.

The coloring is absolutely beautiful! The quality is of course good. I had one of these backpacks before though and I liked the pockets better. I can't hardly find a place other than the big center section that will hold my wallet and I don't even have a large women's wallet. In addition, I used to fit my chrome book for work into the main section and this smaller and it won't fit.

The Small Vera Tote is my 'Go To' bag. I have a few dozen in multiple prints & material. I do love this sea turtle design. It's perfect for the holidays in Florida! The only real dislike I have for the specialty Small Vera Tote is it not having the slip and zippered pocket on the front. I prefer those to the side zippered pocket that these ones have. Oh, and for some reason, some of the Small Vera Totes have a hidden magnetic closure on the hidden top pocket and others don't. I really like the magnetic closure. I keep my phone in that pocket and it is more secure with it. That being said, I absolutely adore the Christmas Sea Turtle embroidered design and Had to Have it even with its lack of slip and zip pocket. I wish that Vera would design them with the pockets with the design on the reverse side.

This bag is lightweight and has many pockets, both inside and out. Very well designed. I found one more "hidden" pocket on the center top edge just today. I hope it does not fall off my shoulder this winter when I start wearing slippery winter coat. My only disappointment is that the fabric is not a type of microfiber that I have seen. It has no sheen.

The last Scottie dog design that Vera Bradley did was iconic this one misses the mark. It could have been so much better with a different Scottie design. Also I would expect VB fabrics to match up at the seems, but my tote doesn't. One of my pet peeves.

I love this adorable bag for the holidays! The appliqued penguins are too cute! It can be used all winter, too. My only disappointment is that there is no outside pocket that the Vera tote usually has. I thought maybe it would be on the back side since the penguins are on the front. I will really miss that feature.

Love my small Vera Tote Bag. The perfect size and the six slip pockets inside are a real win. Only drawback is the material, not Vera Bradley quality. I think quilting would make it more substantial. Love the solid color and would like to see more of those.

I received this tote in the happy Sunflowers pattern as a gift. I have to say I agree with the most popular negative review that the slip pockets are a tad baggy. It also depends upon what you place in them. I appreciate negative comments because not all of us are able to shop in person-either because there is not a VB shop nearby or some of us cannot always get out to shop in person due to health issues. I also own so many VB bags-totes, cross body, hipsters-you name it, I have it!! Yet products do change and sometimes not for the better. There isn't always a way to know until the purchase is received. So to those who give a nice detailed review with pros and cons-thank you. We all have something to contribute in these reviews and choices made are individual. I think the most liked positive review lacked an understanding that a negative review is very helpful in making decisions.

I ordered this thinking it was a medium size purse. It turned out to be a very large tote bag. I'm keeping it but definitely not what I wanted.

Wish it was a little bigger, but overall, a great bag! I can fit a lot of items in it - even a full size laptop. Also, I love the design. It's beautiful!

I first got a custom small backpack over a year ago and loved it. This one had some strings hanging that I had to cut off in a few places. Besides that and issues getting bottles into the side pockets, I love this bag.
