I have had two pairs of Keen hikers. I ordered the same size as my last two pairs and they are too big. They are comfortable but not like my hikers they are more clunky. The lace is already tearing and Ive only worn them three times.

Had these now for about a month. Use them for trail hikes and lawn maintenance around the house. Good toe protection, great traction without bulk. Tread pattern gives good grip and not prone to loading up with loose mud and debris.
Would definitely buy again, but hope these last for many seasons!!!!!!

I ordered these shoes, then went on vacation. By time I got back and tried the shoes out, the 30 day return period had passed. I wore them passed the few days of break in and figured out they were a little big. They seem to run about a size to big. I love the new sole. I have been wearing the Pittsburgh model for about ten years and have never had this problem. They have always fit like a glove right out of the box. I will order another pair and see what happens. If they do run big I will just send them back and get a smaller pair.

Stiff leather. Not like last pair of boots. They had the flex front.
Wish I ordered them.

I wear the boots for 10+ hours a day on concrete. They needed no break in time they were comfortable on day one. This is my 2nd pair of Keen boots and will purchase more.

Great shoe. Its a little more bulky than anticipated, and almost too cushy in the footbed, giving the feel it could be punctured through fairly easily. Light weight compared to other work boots and very comfortable for all day wear.

This was my first pair of Keen boots and I know a lot of peeps like the brand. So I'm trying these. They look cool, hiker / work boot kinda style. But they are heavy and really hard to break-in in my opinion. Also I have a single wide foot and the carbon fiber cup really isn't "wide" compared to the boot width which is disappointing considering the price. It's waterproof and my feet don't sweat in them which is great. I'm still gonna stick with them for now and hopefully the will break-in at some point and get more comfy.

I have worn the Pittsburgh boots for a while and I do miss the king toe that I originally purchased. it had a lot of room for my feet unlike the latest generation. I normally would by 15" shoes in the 3E or 4E widths so my big toe would not rub the safety toe like it does now in my old boots and the newer composite toe ones. I took the old steel toe ones (two purchases ago) to the local boot shop and he "dented" the steel toes to give more room. I like the boots but they are getting smaller and the safety toe rubs with every pair now. I do like the boot and it appears to be well made but the rubbing is not the best.

I just bought a pair of the original Pittsburgh a month ago and love them, so I bought the updated ones and theyre just as good. Super comfortable, lightweight, look good. So far, Keen is my favorite brand for construction work boots, better than any other brand I have used thus far.

Overall these are great boots. The detractors are that these were very uncomfortable for the first week as they were stiff and took a while to break in and also the sole inserts that these came with were garbage and I had to buy Dr Scholl's gel inserts to place on top of the inserts that it came with to achieve a level of comfortability.
Other than that the shoes are incredibly stylish and waterproof and made of good quality materials and after breaking the shoes in at work where I do a lot of walking they have become decently comfortable.

I've been wearing various Keen work boots for years and these are by far the most comfortable boots ever. I really like the carbon fiber safety toe. The steel safety toe gets very cold in winter.

These boots are the real deal. I work construction and truly put my footwear through the wringer. From getting covered in cement mix, walking 6-11 miles a day, going up and down ladders to being in muddy and wet conditions these boots have seen it all. It takes a lot for me to really give a pair of boots a 100% rating however these are the ones. Ive worn various other brands and styles but these are by far the favorite pair Ive ever owned. I typically swap the factory inserts out with the Dr. Scholls except I didnt see a need for that. Keen.. keep up the fine work and thank you for making a product that makes your customers happy.

I wear boots 24/7 between work and life. Ive worn over 10 pairs of keen boots to the bone. Others complain about life span, but I feel like I get a good run for the money and am satisfied with the quality of Keen boots throughout the 1 to 2 years of continuous heavy wear.
This is my first pair of the energy line. Overall the design and colors are awesome for my tastes. The build quality and weight are on par with other Keens Ive owned.
My only issue is with the carbon fiber toe on the inside of one boot. It or the stitching rubs against my toe on one side. There was very little break in period as with most keen boots, so I was hoping this would go away but it has not. Ive had to put a piece of moleskin in there to prevent issues. Never had this happen with other pairs. Maybe a manufacturing issue, different design, maybe I need to give it some more time, maybe my toe grew
Overall I do really like this boot so far. Will see if it stands up long enough to make it to my museum of worn out old boots!

Grip is great, width is great, overall fit you guessed it, great. So why only two stars you ask ??? The top rear of the throat of the boots is designed in such a way that when standing or walking they dig into the back of my legs hard just below my calf, so uncomfortable, but now that I've worn them I can't return them. Very frustrating, Keen came highly recommended to me from colleagues. I wish I could do the same.
