Best shoes out of box. Went with wide even though I don't necessarily need it but the extra room is great and they aren't super wide. They also don't look goofy on the foot like some other boots. I would say there was maybe a 3 day break in period for around the ankle to get comfortable. But no blisters on heel. I previously had Timberland Pro sawhorses and the toe box just get too cut up for me working on my knees. These Keens have a nice rubberized toe that minimizes scratches. Very happy and would purchase again so far.

Nice boot comfortable

Had these for two years now they are still going strong. Keep my feet warm and dry and they are super comfortable.

The fit was perfect for my left foot, however due to an military parachuting accident many years ago left my right foot just 1/8" longer than my left. I will need to return because of this. The boots were lighter than I expected and felt supported in the heel. They are not made for a long hike with gear, but will definitely protect your feet in an industrial or warehouse type environment.

As a 12+ year fan of KEEN's, I have had many pairs of their boots & sandals, and have gifted still many more pairs. These are not new to me. The solidarity of the foot bed is excellent, and a great choice of boot for a variety of working conditions, but the cushioning necessary for a long day (10-12 Hrs) on concrete is greatly lacking. Keen needs to mate up this boot series with a double-thickness Gel insole from the factory. That would encompass the best of every need for this boot. Adding a gel insert helps greatly, but to get enough cushioning to go with the solid footbed for support, one would need to use a foam insole AND a gel insole, which becomes a challenge or a Hazard, if they separate inside while walking down stairs. I have tried stacking insoles, but the boot is not designed for the thickness of the combined insoles, so it needs to be designed from the factory, so your foot still fits in the designed heel pocket, while giving the necessary shock absorbing cushion to keep you happy on your feet all day. The OEM insert is a nice idea, but it is simply too thin to do the job well. While KEEN does make more of a Sneaker-style shoe, which I have tried, I found that they breath better, but the support simply isn't there, to handle the long days walking on concrete. They do breath a lot better, but lack support. The boots have the support, but lack breathability, and lack cushioning. These are a well-built and solid boot, if you're looking for a glue-down design Vs. a traditional leather boot.

Boots fit great and very comfortable

These are good boots, and have decent arch support, but they do not let your feet breath at all. If you're spending your work days on concrete, then you'll definitely need a better insole, as the OEM ones are really only good enough for sitting around or trail/ field work. All around a great boot. I'd give them 5 stars if they included a better insole.
