Absolutely love the wide toe box! Why aren't all shoes made this way? This is my first
pair of zero drop, I also have the Ultraventure 3 and love them as well, though I do wish they had the vibram megagrip. Definitely sticking with Topo and can't wait to see the new Mountain racer.

This is my second pair. I walk 3-5 miles daily and was tired of wearing out shoes in a few months. I wore my first pair for almost a full year and I expect these to last as long. The fit is great; love the 0 heel; perfect for an active older woman - but I'm sure younger women will love them too!

I needed a foot shaped, roomy toe box shoe for daily walking and hiking (about 50 miles/week). I also wanted a zero drop shoe with good mid-foot support, good underfoot cushioning, and excellent grip for walking on slippery surfaces (I live in Alaska). Because of Alaska's weather, I needed a shoe which would transition from outside, to the car, to the store without my needing to change into boots. This shoe has better traction than my boots! This shoe hit every single category but one--please, please give us a neutral color like grey or black?

These shoes are perfect! If you are between sizes, order 1/2 size up. I love the zero drop with the padding and the vibram sole. They are perfect for my job on my feet all day.

I run/hike on technical trails about 3 miles a day. The Pursuits have enough room in the toe box, which was the most important feature for me. Also important is the stability and snug fit in the mid-foot, which provide support when the trails are angled across cliffs and hillsides. I love my Altra Lone Peaks, but they do not provide lateral support when the trails require it.

I bought these for hiking and walking. The shoes were comfortable, the toe box perfect, right out of the box. The next day we went for a 2 mile hike on the trails in our local state park. The grip is amazing and my feet were happy, no chafing at all. Looking forward to more and longer hikes in the Grand Tetons next month. Very pleased with this purchase

I usually prefer barefoot shoes or just being barefoot. I got these for some crazy obstacle course stuff to give a little more cushion when jumping over stuff. Haven't actually tried them yet for that but wore them around today running errands and just like my barefoot shoes, my back or hip didn't hurt! The toe box is nice a wide and real foot shaped. The sole is wider that the shoe giving good lateral support so I don't roll off the shoe ( I fall off clogs and thick soled shoes). My feet felt great after wearing them for a few hours. Now I am looking for a second pair in another color to wear at work (I'm in healthcare. Sadly.) I'd never heard of this brand before and I like them 1000% times more than the Altra's I own and can't run in because they make my knees and back hurt.
I'd also recommend:
Vibram 5 fingers and Merrell Gloves

I am no longer a trail runner. I hike every day. I have a tendon injury in my foot and had to find a totally different shoe. I have a narrow foot and always wore narrow shoes. I developed a tendon injury in one foot and had to find a totally different shoe. I had been wearing zero drop shoes but they didn't have enough arch support. I wanted to stay with zero drop. The Pursuits felt and wore great right out of the box. The wide toe box with a snug midsole and heel was perfect for me. I hiked all summer and I felt that they got a bit 'soft'. I needed more support. I can wear them around town but I can't hike in them. I traded them in for the Terraventure 4. I love Topos!

Love this shoe. I normally wear a 10 and ordered a 10.5. The size seemed to work well. The toe box is roomy, which I've been looking for, but a bit too roomy. I ended up returning this one and going with the Mountain Racer 2. I am so grateful to have discovered Topo shoes. I have no doubt this will be my go to shoe for walking and hiking.

Too Wide. I have the Ultraventure which I like but that are not as wide. Color and overall looks are not so nice, kind of drap.

I gave this a 4/5 stars because the top of the shoe and tongue bites into my midfoot. I tried lacing it several ways (see Topo's lacing suggestions on their website), which helped, but I still had the issue and the shoe bothered me constantly. And, lacing the shoe too loosely negates the lateral support and my foot moved around inside the shoe. I should mention that I have had trouble withother models/brands biting into my foot, so this is probably a "me" problem and not a shoe problem.
This shoe is slightly heavier than some other models but it is a workhorse. I tried this shoe hiking, and ona very hard trail that had everything - wet clay, mud, rock scrambling, loose rocky terrain, steep hills, etc. It performed like a champ. It was sticky on the rocks, even with wet clay on the bottom. The mud/clay on the bottom would shed off quickly. I ran in temps 50-70 degrees and didn't have a problem with the warmth of the shoe. I usually am not a fan of Topo color schemes, but the Sage color was nice. I ordered my usual shoe size for Topo shoes and it fit perfectly.
Side note: I own Dirty Girl Gaiters which do not use the Topo gaiter system, so for my Topo shoes I attach with velcro to the back of the shoe and it works perfectly.

Love these shoes but the heel liners have torn. I've had them almost 2 years so I cannot be too disappointed but they do not have that many miles on them that they would start to fall apart. I would not buy these again unless the material is upgraded. I'm going to try heel grips to see if I can extend the life.

Power walking....the toe box is great, the shoe is comfortable...BUT, the zero heel height exacerbates my plantar faciitis and I am unable to wear them...even with heel pads. These remind me of the negative heel shoes I wore years ago which caused my plantar faciitis!

I wore the Terraventure 3 for long distance walking and hiking in 2022. They served me well walking the last 100 km of the Camino Frances, but I decided to look for something with a little more cushion for my next pair. I made the switch to the Ultraventure 3, which are working relatively well; however, I typically wear 0 drop shoes for my day to day shoes and wanted to give the Pursuit a try. Unfortunately, the toe box of the Pursuit is more narrow than the Ultraventure and my every day shoes. Sadly, they are not available in a wider width, so I will be returning them. They seem like a nicely cushioned shoe if the toe box is wide enough for your foot.

Well, I don't actually run in them They don't have enough volume for my feet, and I don't have fat feet. But I can't size up because they'd be too long and wide.

These shoes crush my instep, which is not a common problem for me. No amount of lace fiddling seems to help. I don't understand because my other Topos fit just fine in this regard. I can barely wear this at all and would not recommend.

I have used topo shoes for 9 years and never had an issue. The last two iterations of this model have gotten worse. I finally stopped running in these bc I have gotten a blister due to the seam on shoes.
I have told support and they have said too bad.
What's bad is that I am changing brand loyalty.

The shoes are falling apart after 50 miles of use. The inner lip by the ankles are ripping. It was suggested that my ankles rub together. This is not the case.

Just like every shoe currently on the market - these shoes have the toe upward and put your skeletal weight on your heels! What's up with shoe designers ?
