I do not like the updated Glenna. The straps are too short to comfortably wear as a sholder bag, especially in the winter when I am wearing a heavy coat. Also, while the cinching on the ends is cute, it has resulted in an opening that is not big enough to get a clear view of what is in the bag. My old Glennas would open right up so I could visual and find what I had in there. Very attractive bag but not comfortable or useful as it used to be.

I was so excited to use my birthday coupon on this bag/purse, only to be so very disappointed by the cheap material used inside the purse and the lack of an insert in the bottom for support. The stiff silky type material used inside the bag crunches like a paper bag every time the purse is moved. I absolutely cheapens this product.

I have carried a glenna shoulder bag for the past 3 years (in different patterns). It's my favorite! I decided to try the glenna satchel this year and it's so cute, but the change in strap drop size makes it too short for me. It's hard to comfortably get on my shoulder, and for a shoulder bag that's key! The regular glenna strap drop is 11 inches and they shortened the new one to 10.5. It's amazing the difference a half an inch makes! I am returning, sadly :(.

I was very disappointed that there was no zipper pouch on the front of the bag. The other iconic bags I ordered had the zipper. I ordered the satchel as I always do and it was like the old Glenna. I am very disappointed.

The satchel was not at all what I expected. The zipper to the bag was not secured very well and it actually closes up part of the opening while being unzipped. I don't think that I will be purchasing this bag again.

I have many, many Vera Bradley products. The last few years some of the inside of the bags have been made with black nylon material instead of 'signature cotton' fabric. I have steered away from these type of bags. When I purchased this purse online I made sure to view the pic of the inside of the purse and the fabric appeared to be 'signature cotton' . Guess what, it isn't. They are now using printed nylon to match the fabric. It is still a down-grade. Why not make the bags with the fabric that Vera Bradley was famous for??? Shameful, cheap practice.

Love the design but little too small. I hate that Vera Bradley got rid of some of their mid-size totes, which were perfect for me to use as a purse. Most of the other totes are too large to use as a purse and the purses are nice, but a little too small for my needs. I've been a loyal customer for years but may start digging out my leather bags so I can get the size and compartments I need in a purse.

The Glenna has been one of my favorite purses for years and I was so excited to see it in the new colors. I like the new contrast trim that has been added to the straps, however, that's where it ends for me ! The new straps won't stay on my shoulders and they seem to be shorter and are definitely narrower ! If they would widen them, it probably wouldn't be a problem! I want to keep this soooo bad, but I would have to carry it on my arm/hands.

Just not comfortable with it

The bag itself is nice and has great features, but when was this downsized to be half the size it used to be? My DIL loved my Vera Glenna Satchel so I ordered this one for her birthday. It isn't the one she really loved because it is so small, so I'm not sure what to do with it. Please bring back this style in a larger version.

I love the pattern Botanical Paisley. I, like many other reviewers, have been a VB customer for many years and was spoiled by the Glenna bag of old. It was much wider at opening and easier to get in and out of. No name tag on the bag to show it is a Veranot even any writing on the ribbons like in old times. Very disappointed that things have changed so much. I am keeping the bag because of the fabric only..it is beautiful. Just disappointed that it isn't as functional. The younger buyers would be dissatisfied too if they had the older model. I wrote a review on the newer Glenna before with these same issues but it is same. Still a faithful Vera buyer but not happy with some of the quality. Bring back the 100 bag!

Colors not as shown online. Turns out to be teal and a brownish color rather than the nice green and gold as pictured.

I have had many "Glenna" purses in the past, but the newer style is very deep and narrower than those of the past, I returned it. The quality was lacking as well.

I have several Glennas in my possession. I have been a loyal VB customer for years! So I am very surprised that this bag has gotten smaller. It looks the same in pics, but it's thinner in width.

Way to small

This is much smaller than I expected was really upset!

I purchased a Glenna several years ago and this one is different. It has a "zipped storage area" off to the side which is not convenient. It has two side pockets but things can fall out. I am especially missing the secret pocket on the top near the zipper. I am disappointed. I am also not a fan of the cloth.

My strap came apart where the vinyl is attached. You could see where the seamstress deviated from the intended line, making the seam too small. The fabric then shredded, making it difficult to repair.

It got smaller than last years, you couldn't even put your name on the purse? You use to have leather on the handles. I've decided to stop buying them after I ordered this one in line. I buy a summer bag and winter. I'll just reuse my previous years as they do hold up well. Bring pack the quality they had.

So disappointed in the "new" Glenna. Used to be my favorite bag next to the Vera tote. This bag does not look to be the quality it once was. All Vera Bradley is functional, but PLEASE put longer straps on it! 10.5" not long enough, especially over jackets. The new colors are great. I have hundreds of VB bags, but am concerned about the quality changing. The quilted straps hold up much longer.

My boyfriend purchased this bag for me for my birthday because I really wanted it. The bag that came is this bag but it's more square with much longer straps on the side. No matter how much I play with it I can not get it to look like the picture or even bags others have shared in the reviews. I don't understand why mine looks like this
