Well made, so many pockets and nooks, but favorite feature is the zippered lay flat compartment. This replaces a weekender travel duffle with the comfort option to wear as a backpack freeing up 2 hands! Great addition to the Vera Bradley line up.

This bag is AWESOME! So many compartments and so roomy! I just packed 7 days of clothes. It's comfortable and seems very sturdy too.

Wonderfully made with much thought in what a woman who carries a backpack for travel needs! I have purchased many backpacks and none has met all my needs but this one surpasses them! If you are on the fence I encourage you to purchase this as you will not be disappointed!

Great bag for a fashionable camper. I took this bag on a five day camping trip to the beach and it even had extra room for souvenirs on the way home. Love how it lays flat to excess all the inside pockets.

Really nice Backpack bag, large size to fit at least two days worth of clothes and items needed. To bad they discontinued this pattern.

This would be a perfect bag for someone who is on the go quite a bit. I loved the pattern, and the design. Sadly I returned it because it was bigger than the size I was looking for.

It is great as a carry-on item for flying, but not really in combination as a personal bag. I like having things readily accessible to me when I'm flying, and if this bag is packed to the brim with your clothes and toiletries, the front of the bag with all the pockets for your small items is super cramped. So this backpack doesn't really compress the main compartments and allow for you to have roomy space for like snacks and electronics in the front.

Love the backpack. Only drawback is a bit heavy.

I loved the pattern and organization of this backpack but because I am a short waisted 5'2", it put pressure on my hips when I tried it on. I did like the laptop sleeve and compartments but chose a smaller backpack that also packs well. If only I were a couple of inches taller. The fabric seemed to be water resistant as well or tougher which I liked. In returning this backpack for a smaller one, I gave up a few features but ultimately needed something easy to use as carryon luggage and would be light enough for me to lift overhead. Lovely backpack for most people.

I got this to lug all my breast pumping and work stuff to work. It fits my Elvie pump and accessories, lunch box for milk storage, snacks, and laptop plus all my little things like chapstick and badge in the front pocket. I also was able to shove my 40oz water mug in the side pocket and use the strap to keep it secure. I could get more in the bag but don't need more yet. 4 stars because the zipper for the compartment is right next to the zipper to close the bag and it can get irritating zipping stuff up - I wish there was a bit more room between them.

Love the backpack! There is a place for nearly everything and I love that so many are lined in screen and glass-friendly fabric. I checked out the Calpak Terra, the Dakine Split Adventure, the Deuter Aviant, and Baboon to the Moon. There really was no comparison in terms of prettiness, and it was surprisingly difficult to get a water bottle pocket. I wanted a pretty backpack that opened flat, had a trolley sleeve, and had places for a water bottle and my laptop. I also would have preferred stowaway backpack straps, which I think should be added to future iterations. I wanted to be able to stow away the backpack straps in a pocket or be able to remove them completely to make it better suited to check or slip on a personal luggage trolley without having them drag. I will probably attach D-rings and clips myself so that I can quickly detach the straps. I also looked for a side grab handle and agree that finer mesh would be nice, but that's pretty minor for me since I don't wear a lot of sweaters. I'm pretty happy with this size as I think if I under pack it a bit, it will fit under the seat measurement requirements, but if there had been an option to buy a slightly smaller one of this exact backpack that already matches the Spirit measurements of 18 x 14 x 8 inches I would have probably gotten that one instead.

I purchased this to use on 2 - 3 day business trips to avoid having to bring a work bag and small travel bag. It also allows me to go straight from the train to work meetings without looking awkward! If I pack smart I can fit all my work necessities as well as 2 changes of clothes and toiletries (to include my Dyson Airwrap) with a bit of room to spare. Was able to fit it under the seat on a normal plane, but had to go in the overhead on a regional jet. Took away one star as the shoulder straps could use a bit more padding for when this bag is full.
