I just started pharmacy school two weeks ago and I love this backpack. It's lightweight, has tons of pockets and compartments, and the color is fabulous. I own almost everything in purple so this bag was a must! It feels great in the shoulders and I love that you can machine wash it as well! I am obsessed.

This is my second VB backpack. My first one finally ripped after about 10 years of use. My new bag has a little more room. Fits my smaller size laptop but could accommodate a larger one. Main compartment fits my notebooks and folders, shoes and coffee thermos. Front zipper compartments help keep pens, cords and glasses organized.

I bought this backpack to replace a nylon packable backpack I've been using for years. You know when you buy something, then get it, and know you're going to use it A LOT? That's this purchase! I love all the pockets to stash stuff, especially the one that goes against my back. It's the perfect accessible place to store my access cards and ID. Mind you, I'm not a student. I'm in my 50s and love the look of this bag.

I buy a backpack every school year for my granddaughter, and another one for her friend. These are excellnt backpacks. Even the ones I purchased them 3 years ago are in excellent condition!

Great addition to my other bags in this print. Lots of pockets to store items plus the padded section for my laptop. The zipper broke on my old laptop backpack and now I have a carrier that matches other bags I take along for weekends. Also, a plus that it is washable. I know I will get lots of use and enjoyment from this backpack. In addition to using for the laptop, it will be perfect to throw in clothes and stuff for a carryon when flying and I don't want to check a bag. It is amazing how much stuff you can fit in this bag if you are an efficient packer, which I have become pretty good at!

I've been needing a bag to take my laptop and work back and forth to work and this works perfectly! No more carrying 3 bags back and forth! This bag has allowed me to consolidate it into one! This bag is very well made and I love that it is waterproof!!

I purchased this as a gift for my little sister who just graduated high school. Everything about it was perfect for her! There was so much storage in the backpack that I'm certain it'll suit her life on campus! There's room for a laptop and a few folders or books, countless pockets for supplies, and even a decently sized elastic cup holder on the side! I also loved the color options and the customization that was available! I selected the blue (my sister's favorite color) backpack and chose an anagram (as well as an embroidery of a corgi, her favorite dog)! I ordered this product a week before her graduation (and I was worried it wouldn't be able to arrive on time), but the item processed extremely quickly (and it even arrived at my address a day before its ETA)! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of this order! I'm definitely shopping with Vera Bradley again in the future! < 3

Beautiful design and excellent durability

I LOVE the Tangier Paisley. This backpack is as perfect for work as it would be for use on a campus. I walk to and from work, about a 20 minute walk. I do not have a laptap (I use a desktop computer), but it would easily fit one. What I put in the laptop sleeve is a legal size plastic envelope full of papers (about a 1/2" thick) that I bring back & forth to work. I put my sweater in the main pocket of the backpack, along with a notepad - that also goes back and forth to work, and toothpaste, toothbrush, snacks, occasionally an umbrella. I slipped my umbrella into one of the side pockets one day, in fact. I also take a can of diet soda to work with me. In the front pocket, I put eye drops for dry eye, and anti-acid pills. I am so IMPRESSED at how this backpack is designed with so many useful pockets - Vera Bradley has thought of everything! Also, the handle is very sturdy and so are the straps - I could carry it as a tote bag if I wanted. I saved the protective plastic bag it came in and put that in one of the pockets in case of any sudden drenching downpours - I will put it in that & carry it if needed, but it is nice that it is performance twill and water resistant in a light rain. Also, I notice it says "ACA Endorsed" - I would like to say I feel more comfortable carrying my things in the backpack than I did with my 2 tote bags I was carrying before. It is VERY comfortable! I love it and am very happy I finally decided to buy it!
