I love this coat! It is plenty large, and plenty warm even for a Michigan winter! Other reviewers said this ran small and wasn't warm enough. But I've been through the first snowstorm with it and have worn it unzipped plenty of times because it is SO warm. More so than the other brand I had with the little dots of reflective foil inside and I thought that was toasty. I will have this for years to come. Cost a bit more but worth it. One very small feather escaped so far, and that's it after tons of wear and touch-up washing after I spilled on it. It's a nice flat black, not shiny. If I could alter one thing I would very slightly shorten the sleeve and add the cuff with the thumb hole because that's what I'm used to. But not a deal breaker by any means. The hood is nice and doesn't block your view but stays in place when it turns nasty and you need it.

I purchased a Medium 5'5 Average Build Usually an size 6 or 8 36', 28, 34 135lbs 137lbs - it literally fluctuates! The fit is good, and warm enough with a sweater and the coat, but it will be too tight if i want to layer anything other than thatI'm talking like - "i can't put my arms down" - snug, - LOL - from a Christmas story quote.so if you are one that likes to layer I recommend sizing up. - Hope this helps!

Just bought this jacket. It's very light, stretchy, warm yet not bulky. Very excited! I'm 5'5" 130 lbs and although I'm a small in other TNF jackets (like the Metropolis), I purchased size Medium in this. The small fit but I wanted room for a mid-weight sweatshirt or sweater underneath. The M still gives a narrow silhouette. Love!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I am typically a small in clothes and have two other North Face coats - one is a small and fits a little on the big size. The other is an XS and is too tight so I gave it to my daughter. I ordered a small in this and it fits, but is a little on the tight side. Definitely tighter than my other Small North Face coat. I decided to keep it thought because I think it looks good because it is a more fitted look. I don't like baggy looks and think they make me look larger than I am. I tried putting on one of my warmer heavy sweatshirts on underneath it and I looked a little too stuff in when I zipped it up. However, the coat is pretty warm by itself, so I just add some warm, thinner layers for really cold events and it works. The blue is pretty too. I usually go black or grey, but decided to try this color and glad I did.

I like that the jacket is thin but still warm. Doesn't keep out the wind as well as I had hoped but overall a great jacket.

Quality, light and warm. I only give it 4 stars because the fit isn't exactly right for me . I'm 5"3, smaller in the waist and curvy on the bottom so I ordered a medium. It's not as flattering as it would be on someone taller and leaner. But I still love it!

I like the double zip on this. It runs a bit small -- I normally wear a large but I'd need an XL in this to have room for bulkier outfits. The padding is thin enough that I'm not sure this would be warm enough for single-digit Fahrenheit temperatures, but it would probably be fine for 30-50F.

Looked nice and good quality, but ultimately returned as it was a bit snug and felt lighter weight than I was expecting/wanted. For the warmth level it stated, it seemed too thin?

Very durable, warm, solid zippers. Love the color. I felt kind of awkward in the parka for every day New England wear. I am looking to get the hoodie version that's shorter soon

The jacket is super comfortable and easy to move around in without feeling constricted. Arm length is great too (most jackets are too short). The only downside is the jacket isn't actually black, it's more of a dark gray or faded black. When compared to other black items (north face included) it's clear it's not a dark black. Keeping the jacket because it's comfortable but disappointed in the color.

I love my parka!! It fits perfectly!! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I ordered around 11:30 am on a Friday and paid for overnight shipping ($25) because they offered it but didn't get it until the following Wednesday. I called NorthFace and they said overnight shipping shouldn't have been offered to me. They were very nice and offered to reimburse the shipping cost but the reason I ordered it was to get it quickly due to the frigid temps we were anticipating for the weekend; otherwise, I would have made a trip to the NorthFace store.

I have to say I bought this parka thinking it was the same as last years stretch parka, which I loved. Sadly it's not. It is a little roomier. It's light weight, but not as warm. That being said, it is good quality and has a nice cut.

Very comfortable jacket with a lot of stretch. The sleeves are a little long, but the cuff at the bottom keeps them up fine. Love the green color. I did size up because of the slim fit and it works well for layering.

Love this jacket! It's a beautiful color, that's what really got me and now I want to own everything in this green! It does definitely fit slim, quite slim. I am a small or medium in tops and went with a medium in this jacket, but there is no wiggle room for thick sweaters or heavy tops, that's my reason for deducting a star. Otherwise, highly reccomend! Double zipper is an awesome feature as is the hood. Feel of the coat is very cool, not shiny and slippery, more matte.

Love this coat! It has more stretch and less feathers falling out compared to the year before of the down stretch which basically is the same fit and look. The black looks more of a charcoal color and the arms are a bit longer that's why I did four stars. But overall cozy fit and very warm.

I didn't like it. It's very thin and color is not black. It's more grayish. I wanted more of a puffer jacket. This is very slim
