These are well-made, but I returned them because I prefer the slim fit.

Fit is great, but after one washing there were stripes in the denim. There is something funky about the dye used on these.

Too baggy. I tried two versions in the stretch jeans, and none fit what I used to call normal. Style has been changed.

They fit and look good, but they have way to much stretch in the fabric. I was hoping for more of a jean and less stretch pants.

I really wanted to like these jeans, but, as I've found with other brands as well, they just aren't taking into consideration guys like me with long torso and short legs. The rise that most major makers are cutting to these days brings the back of the jeans barely to the middle of my back. It constantly feels like the jeans are creeping down my back side while the crotch is giving me a "wedgie". I also still have the leg hems scraping the ground even though I ordered the shortest inseam I could (28"). I had to return them.

I have a pair of these for several months now the have been worn and washed several times now once there on they are comfortable but the material seems somewhat flimsy I noticed at some of the hems (or) seams tend to want to fold back (one of the back pockets and leg opening seams I think it,s because of the lightness of material,I think I prefer the 98%cotton 2%spandex better they seem more substantial like denim,

I the mobility these pants allow but the feel of the fabric takes some getting used to.

There are things to like about these jeans. Fit is true, fabric stretches, breathes and repels some moisture. The number of belt loops and their placement is good. The deep front pockets are very good as is the size of the rear pockets. The reason for the three stars and the reason I won't buy these jeans again is the super short, very annoying zipper. There are other quality jeans from a number of makers who have considerably longer zippers, some up to two inches longer, on sit slightly below the waist jeans. I've had these jeans for over a year and have only worn them a few times because when I look at them, my first thought is dealing with that unpleasant zipper. If you fix this please let me know and perhaps I'll reconsider. For now, I'll buy a different brand.

These are not the same cut as Standard Fit BeanFlex Jeans purchased several times before. The legs and seat are much, much baggier. I'm guessing a looser fit jean was mis-lableled ... both sewn inside the jeans and on the tag. If the fit has been changed this drastically, we'll have to be on the hunt for something with a much slimmer cut. These are going back ... :(

Excellent fit and feel of pants. But there were streaks across the front to look like exaggerated, fake wrinkles. Not attractive at all so had to return them. LL Bean suggested trying classic fit instead. Hope the classic fit doesn't have the fake wrinkle look.

One of the pocket watch pocket rivets fell off after first machine wash. Not a real problem because stitches will hold but concerned about things falling off in the dryer.

With the stretchy fabric, these were much warmer than expected, much warmer than regular cotton jeans.

I thought they looked nice and were comfortable. But, because i have such skinny legs my wife said they looked to baggy on me. So, unfortunately i had to return them to keep peace. I thought Bean's return policy is second to none and employees couldn't have been more courteous and helpful.

Fit and style good. They had a very strong chemical odor when I took them out of the plastic bag they arrived in. The odor dissipated somewhat after I aired them out for a few days. They haven't been laundered yet so I don't know if the odor will be completely gone. If not, they will be returned.

I have multiple pits of these and find the fit inconsistent over the same size. I have also had issues of holes in the pockets on two pairs snifter normal use

These pants fit just as my regular LL Bean jeans in this size. It appeared to be made of the same quality of workmanship and material. I just didn't like the stretch fabric. I'll be donating these and someone else will love them.

Looking for a comfortable pair of gray jeans and spotted these online. Happy with my successful search, I went ahead and ordered a pair in my usual jean size, 34" waist and 30" inseam. Upon trying them on after arrival I discovered 30" length to be too long. No problem I thought to myself as L.L.Bean has a quick and easy exchange program. So I ordered up the same jeans in the same color except in a shorter length at 29". I nervously awaited their arrival since I've never purchased a 29" length in any pair of pants before and was afraid of flood pants. But, alas, they were still too long and they even seemed as long as the first pair I tried. Don't know what to think but even after wash and dry they remain too long.

The waist size was good but the leg size was too snug.

It is strange that I usually wear a 34 waist so I purchased 34/32. The 34 waist fell off - too baggy. The 33 is comfortable but could have been 1/2 size larger. Although snug fit, I still need to wear a belt for them to stay put.

Waist is too low in back. Feel like a plumber bent over under the sink. Also too low in the front, but waaaay low in the back.

I have four pair of 1912 Standard fit jeans that fit perfectly. Three are the stretch fabric, which I like much better than regular. They tend to hold their shape. That said, the Standard Fit BeanFlex Jeans seem to be a different animal altogether. They fit in the waist but are considerably roomier in the mid thigh. I am not sure what the term "Flex" refers to that is not in the 1912 stretch. A bit lighter in fabric weight? Yes - maybe. Overall the jeans felt flimsy and somehow "off-sized". I returned them to a store in my area and shared my thoughts with the person in the men's department. He agreed the sizing was not the same as the 1912.

My LL Bean 1912 Stretch Jeans are among my favorite jeans. Those fit noticeably slimmer, and these are noticeably a more relaxed fit; even after washing. That's fine if you want that.... *** Details: I ordered 32/29, and although my 1912 Stretch Jeans are a 33/29, these are about an inch greater circumference through the leg. The stretchiness and fabric in general didn't seem that much different to me (casual wear) either. *** 3/5 Stars because the fabric is great, the stretchiness is great, the color is fine, I just prefer the fit of the '1912 Stretch Jeans' (slimmer).

The length of LLBean pants somehow is disappointed, could you make it shorter a little. Always getting length at 29 but somehow this one is longer
