Very comfortable but wish they were not pre-faded.

The Beanflex material isn't all that soft and stretches too much.

Love the jeans.....BUT.....ordered 1 pair of Med wash and 1 pair of Faded.....they are the exact same color! The inside tag in jeans also says same item number in each pair. Not cool. I do love the way they fit, but will have to exchange a pair for a different color.

These are very baggy in the seat and on the lower thighs. They are of course quite comfortable but I will probably call customer service about them as they do not fit like the same style jeans (different color) I bought 1 yr ago.

The fit is good and the fabric feels nice. These are a bit lighter weight than standard jeans. One thing is that they had an off-putting "industrial" odor to them when I removed them from the bag which mostly faded after the first wash but is still present.

Denim is fine, fit is inconsistent with other standard fit pants I've purchased. Too wide in calf by a long shot.

The fabric is much stretchier than I expected, too much for me. Otherwise, the cut and finish lived up to what I've come to expect from LLBean.

Nice material good stretch. The proportion was not good the balance was off seems the back yolk had too much material.

Be aware that flex is stretching..My store did not have this pant in stock. I order it on line and had to return it and order 2 sizes smaller. My body can't handle flex but I do like L L clothes

It does not appear that the proportions match the half inch increments that you can order them in. They use the next larger size and edit the waist and inseam only, not the rise or any other dimension of the garment. This is still as good as buying a 36" X 28" and having it adjusted by a sewing service.

My husband is in a nursing home but he still loves his jeans, so I bought him a pair of the flex jeans because they felt softer and more supple but they just didn't fit an "older" body.

The color in the photo is lighter than the actual color. I understand it depends on how much they are scrubbed. It is a popular color.

Almost returned these because of a zipper that required some light machine oil to unzip the pants. It's still tight but serviceable for the time being. Fit is ok and they are light enough for summer wear. The wrinkled look doesn't look natural to me but I'll wear them until I find something better.

These are well-made, but I returned them because I prefer the slim fit.

Fit is great, but after one washing there were stripes in the denim. There is something funky about the dye used on these.

Too baggy. I tried two versions in the stretch jeans, and none fit what I used to call normal. Style has been changed.

They fit and look good, but they have way to much stretch in the fabric. I was hoping for more of a jean and less stretch pants.

I really wanted to like these jeans, but, as I've found with other brands as well, they just aren't taking into consideration guys like me with long torso and short legs. The rise that most major makers are cutting to these days brings the back of the jeans barely to the middle of my back. It constantly feels like the jeans are creeping down my back side while the crotch is giving me a "wedgie". I also still have the leg hems scraping the ground even though I ordered the shortest inseam I could (28"). I had to return them.

I have a pair of these for several months now the have been worn and washed several times now once there on they are comfortable but the material seems somewhat flimsy I noticed at some of the hems (or) seams tend to want to fold back (one of the back pockets and leg opening seams I think it,s because of the lightness of material,I think I prefer the 98%cotton 2%spandex better they seem more substantial like denim,

I the mobility these pants allow but the feel of the fabric takes some getting used to.

There are things to like about these jeans. Fit is true, fabric stretches, breathes and repels some moisture. The number of belt loops and their placement is good. The deep front pockets are very good as is the size of the rear pockets. The reason for the three stars and the reason I won't buy these jeans again is the super short, very annoying zipper. There are other quality jeans from a number of makers who have considerably longer zippers, some up to two inches longer, on sit slightly below the waist jeans. I've had these jeans for over a year and have only worn them a few times because when I look at them, my first thought is dealing with that unpleasant zipper. If you fix this please let me know and perhaps I'll reconsider. For now, I'll buy a different brand.

These are not the same cut as Standard Fit BeanFlex Jeans purchased several times before. The legs and seat are much, much baggier. I'm guessing a looser fit jean was mis-lableled ... both sewn inside the jeans and on the tag. If the fit has been changed this drastically, we'll have to be on the hunt for something with a much slimmer cut. These are going back ... :(

Excellent fit and feel of pants. But there were streaks across the front to look like exaggerated, fake wrinkles. Not attractive at all so had to return them. LL Bean suggested trying classic fit instead. Hope the classic fit doesn't have the fake wrinkle look.
