After 30 yrs of mail and online ordering with LLBean, I know their size charts are a joke. Never follow them. They suggested these in size 10, according to my measurements,..even knowing my last jeans were all much smaller. I ordered a 4 and a 2, my last 2 is snug but probably from a years of washing. The size 2 fit, bags a little in the thighs but is acceptable. The 4 is too large. These are not denim material, but seem like a good weight for 2 seasons. Very soft and comfortable. Just don't trust LLBeans advice.

Because of the poor fabric, I will not reorder your jeans and I have been a customer for many years.

Don't rely on past sizing. I have a pair from last year. The sizing on the new pair is absolutely not the same. No consistency in sizing!

Will be returning these pants! They are too big! I wore them and these pants stretched out! Actually thought these would be a great fit! Tried them on, then Took the pants on my trip. These pants have too much give!!! Size 12 petite too relaxed! Might could wear size 8 or 10 petite. Not sure! Thank you!

These jeans have changed so much in the last 2 years that they need a different name. The waistband was TWO INCHES smaller that previous jeans, and the thighs were baggy. The medium tall jeans are now shorter, and therefore too short for my long legs. I understand that the manufacturing has moved from Indonesia to Mexico, which might explain the slightly different fabric, but it should NOT change the design and shape of the jeans (what happened to the previous patterns???). Since I need a medium/tall jean (ideally a tall jean), and my store does not stock tall sizes, I always need to order online. This is the 2nd time I've ordered these jeans in the last 4 months and the 2nd time I've returned them. Sadly, I need to find a new store for jeans, as LL Bean is no longer reliable (at least for women's jeans - my husband has been ordering the same jeans for over 5 years, and his most recent purchase is exactly the same fit as his first one...) If LL Bean is ever able to produce true straight leg jeans with the old fit of the BeanFlex Favorite Fit style, I'd be thrilled, but I don't hold out much hope...

I bought black jeans. I washed them according to the directions. I now own dark gray jeans...not black. Not only did they fade, they faded in streaks. My "black" jeans are now gray striped and gathering dust at the back of my closet. Very disappointed because when I first got them I thought that I had finally found the "perfect" pair of jeans.

These were a NO for me. While the website describes these as sitting "lower at the waist", they were riding up in the front, despite me being high-waisted. What made matters even worse, they were getting lower in the rear. Writing this while wearing my beloved Bean Performance jeans. LlBean, please bring *those* back.

The older ones still fit perfectly, even after many washes. These were the only Bean jeans that worked with my small waist/large hips, and I own about six pairs. The new ones are at least one size smaller. It's so frustrating to come back to an old favorite and find the same size is too small. I like a fitted jean, but these were skin tight. The fabric felt stiffer, also, but that's hard to compare with my worn old favorites. I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering since that is a common complaint. Maybe LLBean could post alerts to new sizing in the description.

I purchased these jeans in my usual size (10P) last month. In my review at that time I included a photo that showed this year's jeans in the same size were about 4 inches smaller in the waist than the ones from last year. I then ordered a size 12P. The fit is awful...while the waist fit, the rest of the garment (seat and legs) were very baggy. I am a many decades LL Bean customer. I am very disappointed that the quality and consistency of your products are no longer there.

I had to return these jeans. They were very uncomfortable. This Jean is advertised as a mid rise but it is not. I ordered up a size and they were still uncomfortable. The photo looked like they'd fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 6 but the 8's still did not fit.

Everything was fine - delivery in a timely fashion. However, the jeans I ordered were too small for the size.

These jeans were at least an inch too short. Otherwise the fit was fine. Perhaps it was just this one pair.... I returned them.

The pants were poor quality one wash they were already pilling, I never had this problem with an LL Bean purchase. The quality has definitely gone downhill and suffered I will probably never purchase another product from them again and the prices are through the roof. And I have spent hundreds of dollars at LL Bean I always thought their quality was excellent well that certainly has changed

Full figured women rarely have hourglass waist lines. I purchased a 20w and a 22w to get a waist that would fit. The hips were huge/ too big by inches and inches yet the waist was still to small to button closed on the 20w and on the 22w you could button it closed but could not tuck in a blouse and be comfortable. To fit , my hips I really needed a smaller size , but if the waist doesn't fit on a 20w it will never fit on a 16w or an 18w. Full figured women have larger waist lines. These waist sizes were overly tiny by inches! Your fabric quality is the best. If your jeans would just fit, I'd but 10 pair!!!! What a shame, full figured women have such a hard time buying nice close! I realy thought LL Bean was aware of the full figured, plus size body.

I ordered my normal size 10. This style was way too tight in the thigh, looked like it was sprayed on, but baggy in the lower leg. Fabric is slimy, flimsy, just plain icky, only 69% cotton. If online info had disclosed fabric included Tencel, I would never have ordered it.

I have a whole closet full of OLD LL Bean jeans that I love. Ask with all things, they wear out over time so it was time to order new. These jeans...I can't call real denim. It's a weird, stretchy material and I ordered stone washed but these came dark blue. They didn't even lighten up a little bit when I washed them. I can not order through mail again. When I do get replacement jeans, I will be at a store with the merchandise IN HAND so that I'll know that it's the product I want. I can't afford to keep ordering 3 or 4 pairs of jeans that are not my style and I won't wear out. In fact, I'm planning on wearing a pair for a painting project so it won't be a complete waste of money.

These had faded out knees and the top front of pants had dye stripes. The description of the pants doesn't match what I was sent. Very disappointed

I did not like the fabric. It feels like rubber. I love the favorite fit jeans I usually buy. Cotton with just a touch of flex. But they are out of stock.

Not sized correctly. I am 5'6" and the regular length was too short. I weigh 130# and the waist was too tight (I always order size 10).
